Basically anyone who wants to play bigger than 2/5 NLHE at Foxwoods either switched to 2/5 PLO or they migrated to Twin River, where the 5/10 NLHE goes every day.

Some have also headed further north to Chasers where 5/10 runs constantly. It's hit or miss though.

Ahhh the game that runs constantly in a room that closes daily.

They really like to not reward hard working poker players. Getting 4 rooms vs 2 rooms even during the week would be life changing for me.

Looks like sliding doors are in place for those who drives scooter and wheelchairs. Looks like those walls are extremely thin for the music. Hope they know what they are doing.

I have a haphazard pile of rewards cards- didn’t think about collecting chips until it was too late.

As far as rooms, I liked MS better than FW. FW wasn’t so much a room as much as some tables thrown into an available space. Pretty dark in the back.

Wednesday 15k gtd tourney at FW was a great format for a donkament.

Increase your avg rewards points/day earning. Gold card is irrelevant, total doesn't matter, only average (mostly). Diamond is an exception, but you're never getting there via only poker.

I used to know the point thresholds for how many get you what rating, but that info is obsolete, and since I'm all done with this place in 2 months I don't care to bother to figure it out.

You can get diamond through poker only. I know 2 players who have it. They're walking zombies, but they've done it.

The Mohegan Room is new. Opened mid-March. The old one wasn't bad, just located nowhere near any kind of foot traffic.

Foxwoods is moving its room upstairs sometime, uh, soon?

What's the reasoning behind totally ditching Foxwoods? Is it just the simple fact that Encore is opening or do you have issues with Foxwoods as well that's contributing to the switch?

Encore will have zero parking guaranteed for the first few months. Uber/Lyft/Taxi are gonna be the only option for commuters. I think it will have a great medium/high stake playerbase but in my opinion, nothing beats low stake foxwoods. 1/2 2/5 NL/PLO will be better at foxwoods.

That's rich coming here room someone who follows it with foxwoods love.

Foxwoods players spread so many rumors about the other rooms. $10 rake in NH. No parking at MGM Springfield. Enjoy the woods bud, keep the nits together.

I hate to argue with Lattimer but diamond is possible by just playing poker but you can’t have a life outside of Foxwoods to accomplish it

Here's a rough estimate on how to achieve Tier status. Now I would hope that the V Level would go up with the higher card.

Gold 400 – 1,999 Tier Credits - 58.82 Hours of Minimum Play in 6 Months - 400/6.8 (tier pts per hour) - Play 8 Hrs per day achieve in ~7.5 days

Platinum 2,000 – 9,999 Tier Credits - 294.11 Hours of Minimum Play in 6 Months - 2000/6.8 - Divide by 8 Hrs per day it takes ~37 days.

Diamond 10,000+ Tier Credits - 1470.58 Hours of Minimum Play in 6 Months - 10000/6.8 - Divide by 8 Hrs per day takes ~ 184 days - That's playing almost every day in 6 months 8 hours per day, and obviously taking in 3X Tier days.

Being from Queens and having a full time job, I'll never get to Platinum..

I know it's possible, I've posted the hours requirements before, but no reasonable person is going to achieve it. My post was practical not technical, given the context of the question I was responding to.

Issues with Foxwoods. While Encore opening may be an indirect cause of some of them, the timing is coincidental.
