Good....so bravo is drunk. 79 on 1/2 and 55 on 2/5 on the current bravo list. Woulda be disappointing to finish driving through this rain to wait 2 hours for a seat.

I've heard from someone down there that bravo is NOT drunk.

There was the $600 circuit event today and for some unknown reason FW didn’t schedule enough dealers.
On Tuesday the cage in the Poker room was closed. I heard two different stories as to why it was closed and I don’t know which one to believe.
Inconveniencing your customers 6 days before most of them are hightailing it out of there is probably not the smartest move.

Bravo is accurate. I waited over an hour for a table.

(worth it)

Yep over 600+ players in the $600 500k GTD final flight jammed up the cash game lists. I wish FW would try some 1M GTD tourneys. This one would of got there with just 4 flights, tho they could of squeezed in 2 more flights to ease their worry about overlays. When the last time this place had a 1M GTD tourney? Has to be 10+ years...

Didn’t believe it originally but Foxwoods has taken the unusual step of being their worst enemy to a new strategy of sabotaging themselves.

What would your step have been when you receive 685 entrants on the final flight of an event that attracted 232 on the same final flight the previous year (yes, I understand rebuys are include but they were last year as well)? Noboby in their right mind could have expected such an enormous turnout yesterday and even so, they had all hands on deck with every dealer scheduled along with floors dealing in shirt and ties to accommodate the field.

I mean, if "sabotaging themselves" is hosting a tournament with 3x entrants from the prior year without it affecting the tournament itself since they somehow managed to staff it then that is a pretty good problem to have.

Easy tiger. Im not talking about this singular occurrence. But a trend of mismanagement that has developed there over the past couple years. They are making it easy for competition to take over. Just my opinion from experiences in other industries.

I don’t want to argue this point, as minor as it is, but I feel I need to correct one statement you made. “Every dealer” was not scheduled yesterday

No, you specifically quoted the post regarding the list of 90 on Bravo from yesterday.

Competition would be taking their customers regardless of operations when multiple poker rooms open shop and is more convenient to the player. The only poker players who will be playing at Foxwoods by next summer will be those who live in close proximity to it. This would be the case even with flawless execution.

I don’t live close, 45 minutes north, but I am willing to drive twice the distance to Springfield so I don’t have to ever deal with FW bull****.

As long as Foxwoods keeps giving this Philly guy two nights he'll be giving Foxwoods play while there.

Last time there, I found it much better than Foxwoods.

I'll be up there this weekend. Look for the extremely fat balding guy.
I play PLO 5 days a week at FW and i think it's good to great action on average, especially since they (finally) switched to 9 handed.

Mohegan has just 1/2 plo as a mainstay and it barely goes. I check bravo alot and it's maybe 2-3 times a month running and often has no legs. FW plo has 2 games daily and sometimes 4+ during tourney time that goo all night. This past weekend was three 2/5, one 5/10 and a 10/25 plo during peak time. Also they have a 1/2 pop up sometimes.

While Mohegan is a better facility, Foxwoods poker room is still the best spot for Northeast poker imo. Plo is no exception.

This could change soon with Mass casinos opening, but for time being PLO is beary good at FW 🐻

It is kind of disingenuous to say one is the best spot for poker in the Northeast. Chasers in Salem, NH had SEVEN PLO games running Friday night so if PLO is your game there certainly is another strong Northeast option for that game. If 5/10NL is your game you have Twin River with 1k Max going regularly while Mohegan runs 5/10 all day Friday and Saturday into the early mornings with usually two games up at 2500 max while this game rarely goes at Foxwoods anymore.
