so how much was the 2nd BBJ, after the reset ? must have been pretty small ?

reminds me of when i got a Royal Flush at MS for HH, and $1,800 ..........only to have someone else flop a Royal 10 minutes later. Had to split the prize and took $900

Felt deflated.

Got an email with September offers - back to free rooms again, two a week at the Two Trees Inn. I'm just not important enough to get summer offers and that's totally understandable. I am surprised I am getting what I get actually!

I stayed there last week for the first time in 3 years. I don't think the place has been cleaned since then.

I stayed at Two Trees for my first Foxwoods stay last December. They upgraded us to a suite for like $5 a night and we had a great time. Room was fine.

I'm sure the $14,400 the loser got served to calm him/her down. Probably wasn't expecting that at 1/2.

Well of course, but I don't think you get how most gamblers' psychology works. Many people are going to feel like they just had $26k taken from them. I would certainly feel pretty happy when I wake up the next day, but for the rest of that day, grrrrr.... it's kind of like winning Powerball but finding out there are 1-2 other winners.

Is it just me or this room getting more and more dead? What’s the deal so many games at Mohegan and people playing at TWin Rivers? I guess once encore Rever is up and running it’s really game over ?

This isn't a new thing. MGM Springfield will hurt and intercept the Hartford player base.

I know it’s not new per say but it seems real bad at this point

I really think a downsizing would do wonders for them. Other rooms feel alive because they're smaller but packed, but foxwoods is just a dead feeling because of all the emptiness.

Totally agree with that - making it over a bit, relocating it and making it smaller would help a lot

If they had relocated it to Pequot Tower Side, the dead slots area across CPK would have been a perfect spot, especially now that it’s all open space with no walls. Perfect spot for a 40-50 table poker room. And if you have a tournament series and need more tables, use one of the Ballrooms right down the hall.

You have to expect significant overall casino downsizing in the coming 12-18 months that should already be in the planning process. As far as the poker room you also have that space on the ground floor last Ben & Jerry's on the walk toward Fox Tower.

I think everyone would agree that where that Ben and Jerrys is or was on that walk to Pequot Tower would be a bad spot for a poker room. No near bathrooms, no near parking garage... literally nothing.

I still believe across from CPK is totally ideal, if you ever been there during the week, there’s literally NO ONE playing those slots in that area anyway. Where they put those virtual/live table games (stadium style) is perfecto. Wasted space in my eyes.

Anywhere is better than below asian gaming. It would be nice for casual folk to walk by and think I saw that on TV, let me take a chance at this. Instead, those not looking for poker room never even see the poker room.

I still preferred it when it was upstairs than where it is now.
