I think that most CT and RI players will probably stick with FW (or have already migrated to TR), but I also think that lot more FW customers come from E. Mass. than from RI or CT. (Just based on population numbers; also on some data FW published a few years ago which indicated that Mass. players alone represented >25% of its customer base) (and this did not include NH or S. Maine players, who obviously will find it easier to play in Boston than at FW.)
Traffic factor around Boston will definitely be an issue, but I think that the casino and gov. have plans to ease this. (Good luck!) In any case, traffic will be much less of a problem for anyone able to go to/from Everett at non-rush hours. (I already have my routes and times planned.)
I think that Springfield will have some impact, but that Wynn will pull away a lot more, perhaps up to 20% of FW's overall traffic. But we'll see (in 18 months or so)....
