I got another offer for rooms after playing several hours of $1/2 and a tourney last month. I booked two nights the very end of February. This time I am gonna bring the teenage son and we're gonna do the trip to Salem for all of us.

There really was something awesome when you could play 1-2 or 2-5 and come home with a quarter million. The 3k jackpot is pitiful. Also, they should have something like a 10% jackpot for losing with any quads.

MarcoEsq- I was banned from Mohegan when I was 26. I waited a year, and then I wrote a letter asking for reinstatement, in which I apologized and promised to behave. Those places are dying for business, so as long as your infraction wasn't too serious, they will take you back with open arms.

Mohegan announced their 2017 numbers last week. $1.08B in revenue which is a 6% year over year increase. Even in the winter with the new 400-room hotel you have many advanced sold-out weekend nights......in the summer they are booked virtually every weekend and some weeknights too.

While they certainly aren't "dying for business" you are correct in that an apology note asking to be considered for reinstatement will give him a decent shot depending on the banned infraction.

They absolutely are dying for business. Their customers are being poached from all around them. Look at where casinos have popped up in the Northeast, and they haven't stopped popping up yet. These places now offer $1 blackjack! They have been scaling back promos and comps. Action is down all across the board, combined with the fact that people have less and less disposable income. I could do an ECON project on why these places are dying for business.

You claim that everyone is taking their customers and that action is down across the board.......while ignoring the fact that the place is slam packed and revenue numbers are up. Mohegan hasn't scaled back comps or promos at all maybe you are confusing them with Foxwoods.

Every casino wants more business......you don't need to create a doomsday scenario when one doesn't exist right now. Yes, there will be more competition in the future we all recognize this.

is everyone who reads this thread smart enough to realize "$1 BJ" (in live games, not on the machines) is totally worthless? ive seen this in other places too. the way they offer it for only $1 is to charge 25c ante per hand. (so every hand u either lose $1.25, or win $1. terrible odds. if not this, its even money on BJ. u arent getting 2 dimes along with the $1

These monthly offers from foxwoods are getting ridiculously bad. Honestly, I rather have zero offers than 5 points. If I got none I could just think I was forgotten.

Anyone with Sun-Thurs offer of two free rooms either @ FT or GPT try for complimentary suite upgrade upon check-in? I always get the e-upgrade email prior which is usually $65-150 per night. Also was wondering if anyone has tried the $20 trick for a suite upgrade?

$20 trick doesn't work at FW. Also the suite upgrade isn't complimentary unless you are Diamond. Sometimes you can luck out if you check in really late (like after 11pm) and they got rid of all the regular rooms and they're forced to give you a suite because that's all they have left, but that doesn't happen often.

Had a great return to FW today. Even tho I went busto had a ton of fun. I witnessed one of grossest hands ever. Let me try to recap it best I can.

This happened to my tablemate not me. 1k high bonus is running. Our hero wakes up with Q9 of spades. Flop comes K10J all of spades. Action continues and the turn brings the A of spades. River doesn't matter. Our hero flips over his hand. Well the A of spades gave him a royal flush, but it only uses one of his cards so it doesn't qualify for the 1k high hand. Essentially it counterfeited his straight flush for the bonus. Our hero was pissed but ended up getting a grill cleaner for hitting his royal. I would have been on life tilt if that happened to me. He also hit quad 7s but the high hand was quad 9s. He eventually stormed off.

That’s why I played stud today. Any five cards played. High hand was hit 3 times today on our table. One guy hit a $1000 royal with 45 seconds to go. 1-5 stud.
