I'm visiting the city this weekend and I'm wondering about nearby casinos and poker rooms that anyone would recommend.

Naples Fort Myers Greyhound Racing & Poker

10601 Bonita Beach Rd SE, Bonita Springs, FL 34135l

(It's in Bonita Springs, about 30 mins from Ft Myers). Place is a dump but tons of action. Use poker atlas to see what games are running when you get down to Ft Myers.

I love this place. Sure its a dump, but I love dive bars so I love this place too. Very good action the 2 times Ive played there.

I played there a few years ago. It was November I believe and action was very, very good.

Could someone tell me when the "busy" seasonal period is down there? I hear the volume of play varies a lot depending on the season. If I recall, December the snowbirds fill the area up, only to disappear over the Christmas period, and return until about April or so. Is that accurate? Planning a return potentially in the coming months.

they don't disappear , they stop coming to the poker rooms because family , kids, grandkids are in town visiting
