Hey guys has anyone ever heard of this place? I drove by it the other day and they had a big sign out front advertising live action and tournaments.

I called to ask about how things worked, and he was very clear about buy in's for nightly tournaments and said that they have 1-3NL action most nights the room is open. He also stated that they charge no membership fees so I'm assuming they take a rake on cash games or some sort of vig on tournament buy ins.

Is this legal? I know the Shark Tank charges in Columbus charges a membership fee but no rake.

Going to go by and play their 8pm Donkament and check things out, before i play any cash games.

I was there a couple months ago. Played cash game, 1/3 played pretty tight. Charity game so rake was 10% up to $10 which is high for 1/3. You are not allowed to tip dealers. Tough habit to break, but they will under no circumstances accept tips.
Parking lot dark, but armed guard would escort to car. I'll be going back when I get out there around Christmas...

Whats the buy-in for 1-3? I'll be in Dayton at the end of the year and would like to check it out.

Don't bother. Check out Ruggles Poker Room in Beavercreek. Great place, wonderful staff and everything is on the up and up!
