Once these games get established in the Tampa market I really don't have any reason to fly out west.

Everyone just wants the easy money, but if one person doesn't agree, then the tourney plays on. I felt I was the strongest player there, but the blind structure is so skewed and the prize pool so top heavy, it only makes sense to split.

I see some of the Miami area rooms open at 12 or 1PM. Where's the best place to go in the early afternoon? Flying it to town, and would like to head to a room that isn't slow going and short handed.

You can only hope, I really don't think it will, they are still going to be the only one with real gaming so they will still be the busiest room. If the state gave all the parimutuels slots then it would be competitive, husband and wife go out they go to the hard rock, she plays the slots he plays poker, this is not an option at the parimutuels.

I'll be attending a meeting with the DPMW on Tuesday, May 11 at the Isle Casino Pompano.

Does anyone care to go with me from Clearwater to share the driving? PPA member and non-smoking only please.

It will be a 3-day trip - drive down on Monday, return on Wednesday. Meeting will be just a couple hours Tuesday morn, so the rest of the time can be poker/touring. You will be able to attend the meeting as well.
