Hard rock tampa has had 10/25NL running everytime I have been there since it started. Im not sure if 25/50NL ever got running or not. So many games on the bravo list. its hard to see what is running.

I've yet to see $25/50NL at the Hollywood Hard Rock. The biggest games have been $10/25NL and $10/20PLO.

The HardRock in Hollywood, what are the Buy in today? Also are there many games running? I live in CT. So I rely on this site for info.

Played at Naples-Fort Myers dog track-- We cannot chop the blinds- is this true ? Good action the first day -they had a 10/20 No limit game going all day. One pot was over $9000.00.

I pretty much got there at exactly the right time, because by 10:00 pm the line just to sign up was huge. Somehow the guy to my left started talking to me about 2p2 or online poker, and it turns out it was PyramidScheme (nice guy). He then tells me the guy in the PPA shirt is PokerXanadu. The table was really full of good players who mostly seemed to be internet grinders. There was one player, two to my left who I had played before, who was somewhat spewy. Not a terrible player at all, but I did end up stacking him with my bottom set against his top 2. I went to try to find an easier table (as did PyramidScheme) so I transferred to the 2/5 one table over (table 2-2). This table was almost as bad. One spewy player who left pretty shortly, one player who was a LAG (but not necessarily bad). The guy in seat one was wearing a Victory Poker Sweatshirt, which he got because he's Antonio's little brother's friend. I also heard him mention something about a $1k flip to the guy next to him so it was clear they were both 2p2'ers (although I'm not sure who). The 3 players to my left all seemed to know each other and all seemed to know what they were doing. One mentioned being good friends with Chris Conrad. The other said he's friends with Dan Bilzerian. Overall, another bad table draw and I ended up down a few hundred before the game broke. Finally my 3rd table was full of fish and by the end of the night I ended up $1100, and left around 9 am.

P.S. On the 1/2 table before midnight I talked to a guy (Roy I think) who said something about a poker forum and I asked if he posted on 2p2. He said he just lurked, but then excitedly told me how he got to meet ParisRon earlier. If you're reading this Roy, it was nice playing with you, you're a good guy.

Anyhow, I'm not headed back to THR, now that I've got some sleep. I'll be in my LOL Donkaments shirt that is wrinkled as hell. See you guys there.

lol. i knew u were 2+2. young kid in the middle huh?

I was seat 1 w the victory poker sweatshirt, and seat 2 (grchan) u had 26dd if i remember vs AKdd on a 789dd flop if i remeber correctly.

games have been ok so far. 3 sessions, 11 hrs, +2600, all 2/5nl.

no, the 25/50 has not run and by what i've seen the first 3 days it don't look like it's gonna run at all. let's see, perhaps tonight it will change.

grchan, not trying to clown on u or anything. i did think it was hillarious when u floated the old man w A2hh on a 2 club board to barrel the club on the river at him. that was pretty lol funny.

You want to either go to the Tampa area or the Hollywood/Pompano beach area. or both.
Tampa area stay near Hard Rock the only 24/7 poker room with 50 tables and BJ and other table games. Plenty of hotels on US 301, half mile from there.
You can take a 20-30 min. drive and visit the tracks in the area from there.

The Isle casino in Pompano Beach is the nicest and best in Florida. you can stay 5 miles N. of there in Deerfield beach for around $50/night for a suite at comfort or best western.
a little south of there there are many other rooms you may want to visit and a little north of there is Palm beach kennel club which has great action.

thanks for your reply parisron. another question I had was rather i should rent a car or just cab it out everywhere? also, id probably stay around a hotel near tampa and hit up hard rock since you say they are only a half mile away but is the neighborhood safe at all?

where the hotels are is on US 301 a major highway. Well traveled by police. Its not a bad area at all. Cab would cost a fortune. Rent a car for sure.
Most poker rooms are a decent drive apart.

Let me know when you hit Hard Rock Tampa.

Hey..I live in Delray Beach, almost exactly half way between PBKC and Isle...you can't go wrong with either room....lots to do besides poker down here too...

I wouldn't bother with Hollywood Hard Rock for poker........not worth the trip

Let us know when you are coming down...

BTW...PBKC is directly across the street from PBI airport....you could throw a rock and hit it....

BTW rental car is a must in Florida...fly into PBI, take shuttle past the PBKC to get car, drive .2 miles east to PBKC, win regs money and enjoy your stay...lol

Palm Beach International Airport. It is a stones throw from the card room and their are tons of nice hotels around there.

You can priceline hotel for half price and get something very nice.
