Room Status as I see it.

1-2 still rules the room ($400 max buy-in still) although the 1-2-5 PLO games run every Thursday. Friday and Saturday nights there is bigger game of some sort but it varies. (1-3 Match, 2-5, 1-2-5 PLO, Round x Round) Just depends on who comes in the room.

Bad Beat has hit a lot lately so it is low, but they did implement a $250 high hand bonus that is given out every 4 hours. Plus they give away about an extra $1k in various drawings during Monday Night Football

Tournaments are still 7 days. Morning Trny's are Turboish...$40 buyin...30 players or so. evenings vary but Monday and Tuesday seem to be the biggest. Sunday Tournaments are great money. $120 buyin for 2k most Sundays and the 2nd Sunday of the Month Deep Stack sold out last month (120 + Alternates) and paid over 7k. MSPT released them on the schedule for 2 more times next year too, but I haven't seen anything in the room.

In answers to previous questions... Last Call is 2am and I did hear about a Huge Short Handed PLO game that ran late (early) a couple weeks ago. Seems like they generally carry a 1-2 game 24 hrs and 7 days though.

Thanks... I mainly play 1/2 , but have done 2/5 and plo when the games just suck at the eagle lol... I honeslty wish more places would start running 1/3 games...

I know I asked this before but how is the week day / night action, cuz I now have tuesday & thursdays & saturdays off ,, and if there is enough action going I wouldnt mind making the trip down there to play some.. during the week... I mean obviously it cant be as bad as the eagle where they get 1 table going lol..maybe two and its like pulling teeth for action

bumping: thinking about going down tonight, looking for 2/5 but after this thread it seems like I might be wasting my time. True/false?

It's been a while since I've been there but I'd say yes. You'll probably have better luck finding 2/5 at a home game.

2/5 holdem rarely happens, but the 1/2/5 Omaha game is running 3 to 4 times a week now. The Deep Stack is twice a month now. 2nd Sunday and 4th Sunday.

I am headed there next weekend. I recently moved from the Tunica area to northern Indiana, I read on the website that they spread 10-20 limit there, I am coming from a regular 20-40 game in Tunica, so 10-20 would be my game of choice over 1-2 NL. Can anyone verify if this game actually spreads?

No. The only limit games spread there is a 3-6 limit hold em game on Friday Nights and all day Saturday.

Great room for tournaments with a new Tournament of Champions promotion and a MSPT stop. Great room for 1-2 NLHE with a 400 max buy in. Always a 1-2-5 Omaha game on Thursdays and Saturday. No structured games over 3-6 limit hold em.

I think the Web site indicates they will spread it but I've never seen it actually run.

What's the TOC? Is it on the website? Agreed my favorite room in MI for tournaments and it's not even close.

Just checked the website and I don't see the TOC listed there but it's definitely running. It's a point system with free rolls every quarter and the end of the year for their tournament players. Not sure on the details. I'm hoping to play their 240 deep stack next Sunday so I will try to get more info then or if I get in to play cash this week.

Can someone give me an idea of the structure for the 2nd and 4th Sundays $240? I c there's 15k stack and 30 min levels but doesn't say anyhing else. I assume it starts at 50-100? And any big level jumps that are notable or anything like that? Any idea around when it ends when it sells out? Thanks for the help in advance!

I plan on coming to firekeepers this Sunday... Any chance there will be a $2/5 NLH running because of the big tournament going on?

Blinds for the deep stack Sunday trny start at 25-50. Ante doesn't start until 400-800 which is the 6th level (I think). From what I've heard it's about a 9 to 10 HR trny, but I've never been there at the end. Sell outs are rare now because they shoe horned 2 temp tables on the side so they seat plenty. 150+?

2/5 NL rarely runs because the 1/2 game buy in is already 400 and most of the room's bigger player regulars prefer the 1/2/5 Omaha game.

I don't usually go there on Sundays, but I hear the PLO game occasionally runs (which is 1/2/5), but haven't heard about 2/5 NL running in a while.

The room's excellent, the dealers and floor are great, being able to eat at the tables is awesome... but the biggest game that's been running in quite a while only has a $500 max buy-in. It's a fine structure for a 1/2/5 game, but I wish some 2/5 PLO or 2/5,5/10 NL ran once in a while.

I just played in last weeks tourny (feb 23rd) and it had 137 runners. They can seat 130 at the beginning and will seat as many alternates as possible until the end of the 2nd level.

blinds begin at 25/50

out of the 137, 16 cashed with $7400 on top

for time reference, I finished 21st and it was about 6:30pm. Tourny starts at Noon.

I noticed that Firekeepers showed up on the Bravo iPhone app maybe a week or two ago but since then it has said "SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION." Looks like it's in the works.

Confirmed. They were installing the pads for the tables a couple days ago. I was told up and running by St Patty Day.

Played here last night, great room, very nice staff, the only time I've ever seen security kick someone off a table for being drunk. We were sad to see him go.

I've just recently started playing there regularly on weekday nights, and have been wondering if there are any other 2+2 regs there. The 1-2 games aren't bad. A few whales with a lot of bad regs who haven't figures out A-rag isn't an ep limping hand. Floor is nice and there are a couple smoking hot dealers. I steer clear of their tourneys but I imagine they're soft. Its my favorite room in the area despite the lack of bigger games.

I was there this weekend and tried to run a bad $125 bluff that got shoved back on me. Apart from that I find the room pretty easy and well run. I'm not a reg, but I play there every chance I get because of that and the deep buy-ins.
