Re: FireKeepers Casino (Battle Creek, Michigan)

I really haven't been watching Bravo too much and couldn't make it anyway. Not sure if it impacted GLake cash either. I do plan on playing the $500 on March 31st though as that's Spring Break week so I should have a little more time for poker.

MSPT hits up Poto the following weekend ... if I'm not playing a freeroll on April 7th.

I heard the BBJ was a 'Jar'-ing event!! Poker stories never cease to amaze ...

Looking forward to coming back to FK, hopefully they have staff to handle the MSPT as normally as they have in the past ... or are smart enough to bring in some staff for the weekend like LOTS of these other casinos are doing for large events. GL

Does anyone know how often 2/5 NL games open up here? Also, anything bigger?

2/5 will run on Saturday and the 1/3 PLO (match the highest stack) game still runs on Thursday nights.

There is a rumor of a 10/20 RxR game MSPT Weekend, but nothing higher then those listed above on a regular basis.

Re: FireKeepers Casino (Battle Creek, Michigan)

MP ... Welcome again ... I wouldn't get there too early in the day for 2/5, although the 2/5 game has been known to run all night on occasion but it will rarely run through from one day to the next ... try to get the list going by 200 PM and that might draw in enough to start the table. I've been hearing pretty good things about the action at FKeepers this Winter but they will typically have 33-50% less tables than GLake running at any given time. The BI for 1/2 is $100 more than GLake at $400 and there are 'enough' Players who will sit down with a full stack. There are many times when there's more action at the 1/2 than the 2/5. So, again, don't be fooled by the blind level no matter where you play in WMich.

FKeepers is the best tournament facility along I-94 with very good regs at all entry levels.

Weekend (Fri/Sat) MSPT satties start March 22nd according to the MSPTpoker.com web site ... so 'probably' the Sat night bounty will drop off in lieu of the $250 Satty through the tournament in mid May. $65 Noon Fri/Sat, $65 Fri evening and $250 Sat evening. There is no doubt that this will clear the $1M prize pool once again!!

Give us a trip report ... GL

I see FKC is having a Ladies Only tournament tomorrow at 2. Will they still be having their regular Saturday Bounty tournies?

Yes, but this is the last Saturday for Bounties until the end of May. Next week beings MSPT Satellites and Qualifiers.
