If you’re expecting MSPT numbers then no, they aren’t big. They’ve been getting 40-60 players in them, which I don’t think is too bad for a 1st Annual (not very advertised) tournament.
We were knocking some numbers around yesterday. If the winner gets an 18% share of the prize pool then there needs to be around 735 entries for 1st to be $90K. IMO this is very 'doable' since I'm assuming 250-300 entries on Friday, which would make it almost a no brainer to get to 400+ on Saturday.
1-3-10 match only has 3 on the list so far, but I think there will be at least one table with a list by 'game time' on Thursday at 6 PM.
There are other 'attractions' going on this week and some Players are coming off a two week stretch at Hammond as well. Either way this should be a twice a year event nicely separated from MSPT ... just like Milwaukee does it .. and they are doing it without the MSPT banner as well. GL
Are they going to be doing these Sizzlin 750s bi-yearly? I wish they'd do them quarterly because it appears to bring a lot of people to LimpcallKeepers.

Good question. I feel like the numbers were lower then expected, especially for Saturday.. overall a a good tournament. Crazy that the 5th sunday 500 draws around the same entries in a single day tournament.
Per a response to a Tweet I sent out ... no plans to shut down the FK casino as of last night. Gun Lake is closing tonight at 3 AM for at least two weeks. GL
All table games will close. This includes hand-dealt poker.
• Bingo will close.
• All valet operations, including casino and hotel, will close.
• To enhance distancing, some slot machines will be shut down.
• Additional separation of tables will be implemented in all restaurants.
That sucks man. I hope you land on your feet after this pandemic is over. I suspect a lot of companies do some cutting under the guise of Corona virus even if the actual quarantine impact is minimal.
I don't see much news on the poker room since they've opened the casino back up. Any word or any MI residents have some insight on your states reopening?
We'll see what the Gov has to say later in the week and if it has any influence.
I'm not totally clear who they have to answer to, and in what order, with them being tribal. They could probably buck the trend as long as their 'plan' passes through the Indian Gaming oversight.
I know that Gun Lake made it sound like their shutdown was voluntary, but I didn't read much of FK's statements. GL
LOTS of information floating around ... The lasts I heard was they were reversing course and asking the Dealers to come in for table game training if not already qualified.
Michigan, and especially WMich, is trending back up and with actually starting school as a goal the reigns are being pulled back a bit.
From conversation ... Although FK may be able to open since it's 'Indian' there may be other issues with Michigan to consider (like alcohol/sports betting). There's also the consideration that if they are the first to open that 'everyone' from all directions (Detroit, Chicago, Indiana) may flock to BC and thus the opportunity to spread CV is high. They could consider doing what the casino in New York did and set a perimeter that you have to live within in order to enter the casino ... but why do that just for poker? GL
In the short term, the rake missed out on from a poker room for ~1-2 years (or even more) is absolutely nothing proportionately, which would explain why they're trying to usher poker dealers into the table games.
I'm with Koss on thinking poker might not come back until next year, but I could be wrong, obviously, if FK has been working on plexiglassing the cash tables into 6-handed portions, but I can't see them giving a **** about the daily MTTs for quite some time.
Will be interesting to see what happens around MSPT time.
