So I've been playing here the last couple of weeks. This location is about to host LAPT Chile so I thought some people might be interested in reading about the cash games.

Here is the info for their typical nightly game which I've found unique and interesting.

The game starts around 6pm every night and ends at 2am.

1000/2000 chilean pesos is the blinds. This is about 1.80/3.60 USD

Buy in is 100,000-200,000.

No straddling.

Rake is very odd. 5% uncapped, but taken on the turn. So river bets are not raked. Uncalled bets are not raked. Rake goes into the rack.

Any exposed card during the deal results in a misdeal. It's annoying especially because the button is a big giant disk, and from some angles it is tough for the dealer to deal to the button player. Most misdeals seemed to result from cards flipped over when thrown to the button player.

Hand shuffling.

Chips are bought from the dealer, who shoves the cash down a hole in the table. Denominations of 500, 1000, 2000, 10k, 20k, 100k, and 200k are used. 100k and 200k are plaques, and players are always very eager to colour up. The dealer also frequently colours up the pot. So stacks tend to be very small with most of the money in plaques.

Dealers are quite competent. They don't speak english though.

Game is mostly soft and passive.

1 or 2 games most nights.
