Numerous posts were deleted due to another posters troll where I shared information. I was told that parking is going to be validated witn 1-hour of poker play.

How old are you? It's literally right up there. Post 434.

They all think they will be able to do the same thing but highly unlikely.

I am happy that this will be a high quality upscale place so that people with $ who lose at poker won't be so upset. Ditto the occasional whale who actually loses less at poker than blackjack or baccarat.
Apparently they don't want them. From the parking page of the EBH website:
"Tour and Charter Buses
There is no bus terminal at Encore Boston Harbor. For this reason, tour and charter buses will not be permitted to drop off or pick up riders on Encore property."

Forget match play or a food voucher, they didn't build anyplace for the buses to stop!

Here comes the troll again who again offers nothing to the thread while ruining it for everyone else.

Post 434 does not include specific parking validation information for poker players and honestly I thought that post had been deleted with the others.

This doesn't even merit a response.

Thanks for all the great info people are sharing...

Promo stuff/badbeat 2/5 NLHE & below...

88 total tables, 14 for Tourney area....leaves 73 tables...11 High limit tables, 6 VIP....leaves 56 tables to fill up

They want the people with $$. It is good no senior buses. Just seems that isnt their target market.

Wont be long..

So I had missed the fun a few days ago and just went through all those deleted posts (I wasn't the one that cleaned it up). Rhody, nowhere in those deleted posts did you mention the 1-hour timeframe. The "information" you shared were vague statements like "poker players will like it" without giving any actual details. You added zero information in your deleted posts, so your above claim in bogus. Don't bother mentioning stuff if you're going to play the "I know something you don't know" game.

And Whoop, quit being a dick to him every chance you get. You can call out his posts without being a dick.

That said, it will be great if the 1-hour validation is true.

The bolded is incorrect. I said in two posts that the validation time for poker would be “minimal” and “very minimal”, I believe I used in two separate posts because I was asked not to reveal specifics. I was since told it was fine to share.

Hey I just want to share the info told to me by reliable sources just as I would appreciate others to do the same.
05-30-2019 , 10:36 PM
"minimal" and "very minimal" aren't very helpful. How long is that? 30 mins? 1 hour? 3 hours? It's going to mean different things to different people, which is why it sucks. "I know the answer, but I'm not going to tell you!" GTFO with that, better to not mention that you know.

Anyway, the exact amount of time is there, so it's now moot.

You are insufferable.
Explain minimal, an hour? Two hours? Three hours? 8 hours?
I believe you like to pretend you know more than you do, like you have this inside connect that no one else has. You are deliberately vague so you can continue this illusion.
How about specifics or stop pretending like you know everything

That's more or less what I already said. No need to pile on. Everybody drop this **** and move on, I'm pretty annoyed.

I apologize. I thought you and others would appreciate the insight and positive information.

Today EBH updated the website and it includes a bit more information on the poker room as well. There is an 11 table high limit area in the center of the room, railed off from the rest of the room. Additionally, there are 6 separate VIP tables, it's not clear where they will be. The poker room is on a mezzanine above the casino floor. Across from the poker room is the high limit area. Beside the high limit area are 8 private saloons, with several tables in each. Not sure if there would be VIP poker tables in that area or if there is a VIP room off the main poker room.

Also, ITT there have been questions about promotions. On the web page it says there will be a BBJ for games up to 2/5 NL and promos for games up to 2/5 NL.

They mentioned Poker Atlas on the website for checking on games. It's an ok at best app I find. Think they'll be on Bravo?

In what way is Bravo superior? I hate that app.

Other than most big poker places have Bravo, not sure either. Should always have both apps anyways for poker in general.

I believe there was announcement that they would be using Poker Atlas, or maybe I heard that at Chasers a while back..

You can use the app to reserve spots, without having to call (usally within 20 miles radius). I'm not aware of Bravo offering that.

Hopefully they also report the live games running, vs just always offered etc stuff. I've seen plenty of poker rooms use poker atlas and not update it.

I'm curious what games are considered high limit...meaning g what is the minimum to be considered 5/10 big enough? Or is it like higher....

I can see those 6 VIP tables becoming like a Table 1/formerly Iveys Room in Aria..

Has anybody heard if they are offering security deposit boxes, or any other process that will protect customers from carrying large amounts of money on public transit?

I image the high limit tables refer to high fixed limit games like 20/40 FLHE or 150/300 Stud8 etc.

Guys Wynn is a luxury brand - it’s not in the same category as MGM. They have zero interest in busses, strollers, and riff raff that can’t afford their room rates, parking etc. I primarily stay at their properties in Vegas for this reason. They would sell the property before diluting their brand - or potentially, they’d segment and the brand it as an upper upscale or upscale brand more similar to MGM if the market couldn’t sustain their brand needs

This. Steve Wynn had stated a few years ago that he has no interest in catering to the fleas and basically wants them to **** off. In fact I believe in the Vegas property that if you're betting under $25 on table games they won't even swipe you. They don't want low level players and remove incentives for them to be there. I know Steve isn't with them anymore but their mission statement hasn't changed.

Unless I'm mistaken Bravo is updated always in real time in all rooms I play in for live games, players, waitlists, etc. Poker Atlas is not as far as I know. That's kinda a huge difference.

I think that depends on what the room pays for. I've always seen an accurate representation at Chasers and Hampton, not sure if the others pay for the lower service of manually updating. And for me the app registration is key as I hate calling in.

I'm with you, Atlas registering for games without calling in, is clutch.

Btw, I don't even see chasers on bravo? Is that just me?

Chasers is not on Bravo. The cost for a room to get on the Bravo app is close to $6k per table. I don’t know what Atlas charges but that would be another $90k or so for a 16-table room to add Bravo. Unless Bravo would cut a deal with Encore that would cost them around $500k.
