I am curious about the rake. Do you think it will be similar to Springfield? To Encore property in LV?
Also, I hope they spread 20/40 O8 on a daily basis

My guess would be non-LV industry standard of 5+2 which is consistent with the direction of the New England market but maybe they will surprise is (not expecting it though).

It may be $5 but I highly doubt the +2 part. Wynn poker doesn't do promotions (thank god)

They're the same company. If they don't do it in Vegas with all the competition why would they do it in Boston with no competition.

And fwiw, I know a guy who's met with the future PR manager in Macau and his sense of things is it will be exactly like it is in LV.

Only what I know. I know how business in Boston works where parking validation is the norm which is consistent with how the company operates their parking in other markets.

I’m most interested if games will be 9-handed as they should be to dissuade the 10-handed nitfests.

Less than 2 months to June 23rd and no word from the Gaming Commission still. How many hours/days/weeks of meetings do they have to have internally to come to a decision?

Interesting. I was told from a Twin River floor guy that the reason they don’t offer PLO was because of RI gambling regulations.

PLO already runs at MGM Springfield so I’m assuming it will be no problem to run at Encore. It would be a lot of fun to get HORSE or 8game or Baduci etc etc running at Encore.

Teach us some of those gambley games FishFry! I’m a fish but I’ll put my name right on that list

Excuse my ignorant/stupid question but...

What the heck is the difference between 8/16 and 9/18? Seems silly for a single casino to run both games, since they seem to be effectively the same stake. Unless I’m missing something here...
