Many departure and return times to pick from.
If they get enough riders I will go more often.
Beats gas/tolls/parking and driving aggravation.
Nice! Very encouraging. Hopefully they eventually add more stops along the Pike near the Metrowest.

Somerville is probaly best for hotels. As for Abnb you'd be better served in Charlestown or Boston proper. Just 20/30m walk from Ctown or Uber over from Somerville. I can't imagine there would be a "easy" way of getting to this place for 6 months at least. Hope the action it's worth the hassle.

Nice idea and decent price, but yeah - more stops would be good, not to mention departure times a little later than those posted so far.

Saw a TV commercial last night. Certainly looks like all systems go for a week from Sunday.

Crossing my fingers that they'll have some 10/20 or 15/30 type limit-game options, on opening day.

Jealous on the invites. Happy to buy you a beer at People's if anyone's got an invite and wants to commute from Cambridge/Central.

What we need is for someone to create a distraction while we sneak inside. If only Danny Ocean were still alive.

There is a nice & informative ios (Android?) app for the bus runs, local and long distance, for the Encore bus lines. Looks like it'll be a + when the lines start running.

What app?
06-16-2019 , 11:40 AM
For Android, the shuttle bus tracking app is called DPV Encore Shuttles

Definitely still in beta though, and the reviews so far are aren't kind as it seems to be crashing out on a lot of newer devices. The "terms and conditions" text is the just the Wikipedia entry on Lorum Ipsum.

Same name as the Android.

Crashing out a lot?? Why are you and others even using this now?

Does anyone know if the water ferries are expected to be running on opening day? I'm definitely planning on visiting opening day, but not sure how/when.

Is it confirmed the room def isn't gonna be on Bravo? I assume if you call in they can tell you what games are running regularly once it opens?

After all the hype about them on the news? Barring a freak weather hazard, I'm sure they'll be running. There might even be a whole fleet of water taxis taking people from Long Wharf over to Encore's docks at ten bucks a head, but there's no telling on that.

I had a look at the app. Didn't experience any crashes. It is pretty well made. My only issues with it is that it seems to show the shuttles only and not the water shuttles (which I would be taking most of the time).

Also, do we have any info about the rake yet? Where can I find detailed and consolidated info about the games spread, max buy-ins, rake, reward program, etc. I'd be interested to make a comparison sheet with other venues.

There have been leaks posted ITT but nothing first-hand. Might have to wait a week.

I have it on good authority that they are running 1/3 with a 10% rake up to $5 with a min buyin of $100 and a max buyin of $300 during the soft open. I'm not sure this is the game that will run on opening day. I am told no bigger games are running for the soft opening.

$300 max buyin for 1/3 seems low. Hope your source is wrong.

Well, great, now how am I going make the money to pay the contortionist? His son is pre-med! And the plan is not going to work without a grease man!

I was wondering if anyone is carpooling to Everett in the Boston area for poker. Looking to go for opening day, Monday 24th of June any time

It's the Encore Casino in Everett (Wynn)

Will there be poker at the invite only "test nights"? I know they're donating proceeds to charity, but will they run the poker room for real money for the players?
