Not sure about craft beer at table, but I got a bottle of angry orchard (was disappointed they didn't serve something local like Downeast). There are local craft beers available at Waterfront which isn't far from the poker room if you wanted to stretch your legs and don't mind paying.

I have Verizon and had full bars and internet was fine. This was on Sunday and in VIP table area.

I have AT&T and the same problem than you. It is a true issue. And when I connected to the WiFi (Sunday during the opening) the bandwidth seems bad. My wife has T-mobile and was fine.

I have Google Fi and had no cell phone issues anywhere on the property

Restuarant menus aren't on their website yet which is kinda strange and a little annoying; We ended up picking Garden Cafe for lunch solely based on the description on the website since we had no menus to poke through

Sprint here, didn't have full signal but never lost connection. Wifi and mobile data worked fine.

I am going to try and log all the issues so help me out if you guys can.

1) USB Chargers - mostly don't work? I have no idea how hard it is to hire a good electrician but apparently this is an issue at Foxwoods too. They finally have a few tables in the Pavillion room at the Rio with USB and they all seem to work for the most part.

2) Drink/Food Service - super slow if you are not near the VIP area where they have to run back and forth to. They have bottles of beer. Free vs Pay for Twin Rivers regulars.

3) Cell Service/Wi-Fi - Verizon good. AT&T horrible. Sprint and T-Mobile ok. Google Fi good. Any others? Wi-Fi horrific, bandwidth slower than dial up.

4) Safe Deposit Boxes - no go for a while. Biometric system not working yet.

5) Cashiers - don't know how to count cash or stack chips. I mean they should practice for 2-4 hours after every shift in the back until they get it right before they are allowed to work for real again.

6) Chip Runners - slow and sometimes disappear for up to an hour.

7) Food - No info/menus for their restaurants. Burger Bar apparently slow and will screw up your order (this is the closest place to poker room and they should deliver, no fries/pickle with your burger).

8) Comps/Points - No way to check how many points I have. My points do NOT work at Dunkin. Where does my points work? $1/hour at Encore. I am pretty sure it is $1.50/hour in Wynn Las Vegas.

9) Parking - No validation system yet, but soon. Parking still free but maybe not after 7/1.

10) Dealers - 50% never dealt before. 25% ok. 25% good. Total guess here.

11) Sign up Desk - up to 8 people working so can be helpful

12) Poker Atlas - some people have had issues where they are on the list via app but show up and nothing, refresh issues, freezing

13) Games - adding a kill to 20/40 LHE, adding an O8 game, PLO8/BigO, mix games?

Looking forward to heading over after work next week on the harbor shuttle from long wharf. Only other topic I am curious about is backpacks/laptop bags. It will be difficult to make the stop on my commute after work if I can't bring in my bag. Hope to be donking $ soon at 20/40LHE!

Pierre-from what I’ve seen, food runners are fast. We had two orders at our table at vastly diff times and both were quick
I think the 50% number of sucky dealers is overestimating. I’ve logged 12 hours and have only had 1 incompetent dealer and 1 ****face, pita, rude one
I also have not found the desk people to be helpful
God drink service sucks. I’ve ordered no less that 5 times in last two days and it never shows up

Parking: Casino North area of the parking garage has an elevate which goes to the poker room. I know someone that showed up at 7pm last night who easily found a spot. I arrived at 1pm and left after midnight. minimal traffic issues. maybe a 5 minute delay arriving as I drove thru Sullivan Square and made the left turn in to the encore.

Walk from Sullivan Station is about .9 miles to the front door.

Cell: I had multiple friends confirm that cell coverage was in and out.

Restaurant: Went to Red8 with a large group. Food was great. Service broke down to atrocious. I'm sure it will improve as time goes on. Too much too soon.

Dealers: I played 5/5 PLO. 8+ hours, only 1 decent dealer. Some atrocious. I'm sure it will improve as time goes on. One dealer couldn't pitch the cards to the players. another could deal, but couldn't dealer with the interruptions between hands. I'm sure it will improve as time goes on.

Cashiers: my cashier couldn't handle my cash out. Took her 20 minutes, with the help of the supervisor and the adding machine. I'm sure it will improve as time goes on. one of the reasons the line backs up. when she finally counted out the cash, she just partially overlayed all the bills until it was a big mess.

Chip runners: disappeared at night once the cage got backed up.

Comps: My dad and went to a slot machine to check our points. His read 71. Mine read 0. I went back to the craps table where I played with my dad and talked to a supervisor who confirmed that I put in 40 minutes of good action, while she also said they don't care much about 40 minutes of craps or poker, and that was that. I was unable to use the link the Beast supplied to verify if my points have shown up.

overall impression:
Place is extremely nice and they will work out issues.

That login only shows points and FreeCredit. From what I understand, we earn CompDollars in the poker room. I don't think they show up in the Casino Account login.

I'd like an update on this also. On Sunday they pretty much let everyone in no matter the size of the backpack. But gave warnings to not bring them again. People who have gone say yesterday and today, with either a small backpack or large one, anything said to you?

Is this place going to have tournament series? I looked at the website earlier today and they don’t have a lot of info on poker such as daily tournaments/ bigger events and any info on cash games spread(I only care about tournaments though honestly).

Great summary and I'd agree with just about all of them. Poker Atlas definitely still has some issues on Android, freezes, doesn't refresh etc, but could be a bandwidth thing for them just for Sunday and some times since then. Dealers will get better for sure. Their biggest issue, by far, is the cashier cage. Other than that awesome overall room imo.

How high do you have to play to be in the higher limit area? Is 5/10 in there?

In VIP area, on Sunday, it's was 10/20 NL, 10/10 PLO and 80/160 Stud. Not nearly enough tables for 5/10 in there, only 8 total.

Craft beers in the poker room: disappointing. Harpoon IPA.
Large selection in the restaurant bars, but still lacking from some of the great stuff in the area including Mystic, Night Shift, and Trillium.
But, there were a bunch of beers I haven't tried yet, so who knows, there could be some big winners in the bunch.

If they add the half kill to the 20/40, the same thing needs to be done to the 8/16. Without reasonable feeder game the 20/40 will not last long term. The jump from 8/16 to 20/40 w/kill is too big for most.
