Last Friday night when it was packed, they had a manager bring about 10k in chips out to the table closest to the cage, near the lounge chairs, specifically to sell to incoming players, leaving the cage for cashing out only. That seemed to speed things up.
Wow. Thanks for posting. This proves that this room means business..poker business. They find holes in their operation and it seems they are addressing them and not even open a month. Thank goodness. What a class act, benefiting them and the players. Encore Harbor Boston is going to own New England poker at this rate.

Just now they changed the poker validation ticket procedure. It’s still 1 hour but you go to the sign in desk, with your card and get the validation ticket.

I’m done with On Deck. The first time with the lost burger, replacement burger being wrong, an hour long ordeal for a damn burger that I had to scrape the topping off of to just eat the meat and then tonight.
I walk over at 6:05. I worked way too hard to order chili at 6:10. To go. How long can this possibly take?
At 6:25 I ask the bartender to check on it. Manager goes back and told them to rush it. I walk out at 6:40 with a $15 cup of chili. This is so frustrating

I drove there on weekdays after work and on a Saturday afternoon and the garage always had plenty of spots. Leaving though, I've always seen cars circling around for spots - anyone know around what time the garage fills up, specifically on Saturdays?

Great room btw, the best in New England for sure. Agreed that the cage started out painfully slow but has gotten better.

Played 6hrs last night and was offered 3 drinks in that time. Of those 3, 2 were actually delivered. I tipped $5 on the first one hoping to get a little better service but that did not help. Especially at 1/3 and 2/5 as it gets later I’d really like those waiters coming around a bit more to keep things loose and juicy. The waitstaff issue is still a total ****show. Great room though!

There were 89 wa9ting for 1/3 with over 30 tables open... sick.
13 waiting for Omaha 08 and 20something for 2/5 this is nuts.
Been waiting 30 minutes and is moving but there’s a wait. Good things there’s comfy waiting area, baseball on tv and WiFi.

Are people not tipping? I see the girls get 15-20 just on my table... each time they show. I mean that can be a bad gig... at least 300 a night if you are decent by my math. I must be missing something.

1st time here. Played 5/5 Plo few hours and now at 5/10nl. I think it's a poker paradise. Most of the complaints I see are because the human race want it perfect.

The entire place is classy and time will make everything better.

I got here for 7$. I'm praying the buses stay operational.

Anyways, hope you are all having a great time and good luck at the tables.

This is not true. I've asked a few of the wait staff and they confirm that they are NOT pooling tips.

This is incorrect. I played tonight and saw this post so I asked our waitress, she said no. She was also very available. I left +700 at 1/3 in two hours and she came by 6 times in those two hours. Dealers were also average to excellent, no issues. Cage was still backed up, but they were very proactive about telling players they could buy chips from the table near the cage so the line was cashour only. There were 3 windows open when I got in line and when I was near the front there were 3 cashiers counting in to open the rest of the windows. Was able to park near the North elevators again. On the way out there was quite a line of vehicles held up to park, valet, or ride-share (1:45am) but on the way in (11pm) there was no line to get in the garage. The only thing I really wish would change in a hurry is online registration for 1/3.

Does the convenient store sell phone chargers and when does it open in the morning?

I won't buy from brick and mortar stores for chargers or anything tech any longer.

Amazon Prime days are two days away (07/15-16). You'll be able to buy chargers and all tech devices for a fraction of what they go for normally.

Also they are offering same day or next day delivery on most items. I ordered an Amazon Echo in the morning and got it that afternoon.

Good luck at the tables.

Amazon refuses to recognize Table 60 as my delivery address.

Drugstore is 24/7. No clue if they sell chargers, but if anyone there does it would be them.

Just ask someone at your table. Someone always has a wire.

Went to Encore yesterday. Left my office in Braintree at 10 AM arrived at Encore by 10:40Drove in with a friend. Entered the garage and found parking without an issue. Parked on level 3 and proceeded to the elevators and casino. First stop was the Red Card desk. No line, got the card within a few minutes. Next off to the poker room to put my name on a few lists. 3/6 LHE, 4/8 O8 and 6/12 Stud. Asked desk if I could be texted when a table opens. Friendly and helpful.

Took a brief walk around the casino and stopped in at Garden Café for an early lunch. Service was excellent, food “ok”. Started with fried whole clams and then a cheeseburger. My friend had the vegetable plate thingy. Prices are steep but expected in a casino. Got paged in the middle of lunch but just ignored.

Off to the poker room about noon. Went up to the desk and was told there was opening seating on the 3/6 table. They asked I buy in at the cage and directed me to that and the table. So much better than FW, where you may get a grunt and a point in the general direction of the table.

No issues at the cage for the buy in, though it was early in the day with no line. They counted the money and chips once and I was at the table within 5 minutes of walking into the poker room. Played for a few hours and had one water which was on board so I got it immediately upon request. There were a few waitresses in the room and they came around frequently. The dealers were good with only one with nervous hands and flipped a card.

The whole place is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Though it is brand new, I believe it will stay this way as the Wynn brand has to uphold a certain standard.

Will definitely make this my home poker room; bye, bye Foxwoods…

I'm very glad I was wrong about that.

A dealer had said the waitresses in poker room pool but the dealers dont, so very good to hear.

Earlier this week, they changed the parking validation process. You hand them your parking ticket, they scan it at the machine at the front desk, it gets validated, and they hand your ticket back to you, and you're good to go.

Not sure if you saw the earlier post in this thread, but they're not going to enable online registration for 1/3.

First, why wouldn’t you take Amtrak to Back Bay then the subway? Second, call Greyhound

Guess you really are lost in life.

There's not going to be a direct line from NYC to encore. So take a bus or train to Boston and go from there.

Or if you want to be really nitty, take the Asian bus to Foxwoods then the bus from Foxwoods to Boston then the orange line to Wellington then the shuttle to Encore

Three questions.

1.) If you sign up for a waiting list in person, and then aren't present when your initials are called, are you removed from the waiting list, or are you just pushed down the list?

2.) Same scenario as above, except let's say you registered for the waiting list via PokerAtlas.

3.) Someone earlier in the thread mentioned giant waiting lists for 1/3 and 2/5 recently...is this a situation of Encore not anticipating demand correctly, and not having dealers on hand?
