Check the pokeratlas, I haven’t seen one yet but they can so sure to put an interest list and get a couple people that are there to jump in with you. I’m sure more get on it.
4/8 Omaha Hilo is there a lot. I also see 2-2 PLO and 5-10 PLO which is just nuts type of game. Gl

Anyone have any updates on when they might start running some tournaments or SNGs?

This could go in a faq. A floor yesterday was saying that they plan to open the tournament room in September. It seems like that has been a consistent line.

There is a rumor ITT that if sports betting is legalized in MA, then the tourney room will be converted to a sports book.

I don’t remember for stud. But in limit Hold’em the standard is bet and three raises.

Wondering what it will take to get 8/16 running - I assume they don't want the 4/8 game breaking, which is why they never call the interest list, even at 10+

I'm assuming you looked at the bravo app, didn't see it, and decided to come and ask here to see if anyone knows the magic secret to find it.

Anyway, check pages 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 14, 15, 19 and 22 of this thread to find your answer.

First trip tonight for a couple of hours. Drove in around 7:30 (was already at Gateway Center), no traffic on Broadway. NOTE: There are signs at Gateway Center now indicating no casino parking, but not sure how they'd enforce.

Parked on Level 4 (empty) and took elevator to Mezzanine (great tip!). Maybe 25 games running, a few dealers said it was "slow" today.

Overall dealers were solid (I was at 1/3), had drink service at least 8 times in 2 hours, and food service was fast (I didn't eat, but others at my table did). Sample size of 1 slow Monday night for 2 hours, so YMMV.

Asked floor for validation for parking, got a ticket no questions asked, and exited without a hitch by putting garage ticket in first then validation ticket as previously reported ITT.

And got a replacement red card in 60 seconds.

No traffic on exit at around 9:45.

Glad I skipped the first few weeks to get some of the kinks worked out.

Pro friend just got back said games weren't great (he plays 2/5+), second pro said figures for NE games in general for they are peddlers up there. I booked my train ticket but might cancel now.

The midday 1/3 game I played on July 3rd was amazing. The first hand of a new game, nobody had white, so the players in the blinds posted a redbird each...guy UTG+1 asks whether we're playing 2/5. Then goes to call a $12 bet two hands later and demands change immediately. He wasn't even the only brand-new (to casinos, at least) player.

Later that day my table was tougher but not miserable. Two kids who knew each other from Chasers, an ultranit who had his sweater pulled over his nose, no real spot-spots but nobody great either. Helped I found enough hand to bluff-catch a lot.

I didn't try the 2/5, but it looked pretty similar to me. Also, you've been posting about PLO recently -- I certainly thought about jumping in that, but just wasn't there long enough. I think you'll have options and it's always good to get a fresh perspective, but yeah be careful expenses don't eat you up.

I had a good mid day 1/3 table on Sunday as well. When I got there at noon, there was a guy who was raising to 25 literally every hand and trying to get it all in as fast as possible. It took him multiple orbits to go broke. The best sign wasn't that multiple people at the table were limping and then folding to his 100% predictable raise with any two cards.

It's disappointing if 2/5 has more skilled players but 1/3 has been great for 3 8 hour sessions in my experience.

The Encore booking site shows zero availability for all of both September and October. Zero, Nada, Zilch, Outa Luck.

I made my reservations last week and they showed wide open for both months.
Could this be a mistake that they went from available all days in Sept/Oct to no availability now? Anyone with insight would be appreciated.

I'm on the Millbury bus right now. It's very nice. I wonder how long they will keep it going during the week because there are only three riders total.

There was a prostitute at the cage Sunday night. She was chatting up every dude in line or anywhere near the cage.

I have a few questions regarding Encores poker policies... I usually play at Foxwoods and was wondering if they are similar?

1.) If I go all in preflop and get a caller, do I have to show first at showdown? Do they have players flip them up before any cards come out?

2.) If I make a bet on the river and get called, do I need to show first or can I verbally say "nothing" and let the other guy show first? OR do they force you to show if yopu get called?

3.) If I make a call on the river, same as question #2, can I just muck if I lose?

4.) Do they allow running it twice at NL or PLO?

5.) Does cash play or only chips?

6.) If I bust out, do I need to rebuy at the cage or does the dealer have rebuys?

2. Same as (1). It's up to your opponent.

3. Yes.

4. I'm not sure about other games, but no running it twice at $1/3 NL.

5. Cash technically plays but will be quickly exchanged for chips when the dealer is able to.

6. The dealer will sell you chips.
