Has this person left the garage? Did they use their red card to pay?

If he played 1 hour then parking should’ve been 1 comp dollar

So the gates are down you gotta print a ticket but you just ask the floor in the poker room they give you a ticket that says "poker room". That ticket apparently does not work in the machine to get out but you hand it to an attendant and they manually open the gate for you. So it's still freeEncore Boston Harbor Casino (Everett, MA) - FAQ in OP

Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. I was expecting great things from Encore, but not that. It's so great!

Is the ticket you get dated, or can you stockpile a bunch by asking different floors at different times?

Thank you. I agree it “should be” one comp dollar (jpsychlady) but it seemed unlikely this was integrated yet.

Now that’s the right attitude. Also, you made the right move avoiding BK at FW. They don’t accept points at BK. Cash only. So you are ahead of the game right there.

Does anyone believe a grinder will be happy coming in and paying those room rates? Like I said, they are limiting themselves to locals that will drive in, go home and sleep in their own beds. They want the rooms for the slot and pit suckers, which is the fiscally correct move. I don't blame them. I'm sure FW loves the rates they charge at Encore.

If you pay $900 a night to stay on-site, that’s a -EV play. Boston is one of the top tourist destinations in the US and has an enormous amount of other places to stay all pretty close together. Try a place in Boston Harbor and take a boat to the casino.

It also has a lot of “locals,” as you insist on calling the residents of one of the top 10 metro areas in America. Between affluent “locals,” champion pro athletes (from the top teams in the world), year-round international tourists, college kids from around the globe, and “less-locals” from the surrounding 5 NE states there are more than enough folks to support a high-end casino/resort.

Stick to Hammond if that’s not up to snuff.

The cost of a room at encore is like the fish I caught twenty years ago. Keeps getting bigger.

Dedication. Western MA, or one of the bordering states (NH, RI, CT)?

They're already sending out room comps for a few hours of table play downstairs. Wife got 2 nights Sun-Thu with some min-bet blackjack Friday night.

No dates on them. I beleive this is only temporary but you might be ale to get away with it. Just stand by the parking kiosk selling them for $10Encore Boston Harbor Casino (Everett, MA) - FAQ in OP.

I went to Encore opening night and experienced slow drink service, a couple of horrible dealers, and a slow cage (seems like Money Laundering fears run amok more than incompetence), but I also experienced wonderful straight-from-Vegas dealers, great table side food in 10 minutes, beautiful waitresses, huge action, great energy, wonderful decor/atmosphere, easy parking, and random folks dressed to the nines and ready to gamble on anything (odds and STDs be damned).

I had been to FW earlier in the week and had to remind veteran, unionized dealers in the single PLO game to keep giving out cards after the first two, waited an hour+ for unattractive and unfriendly people to bring tiny drinks, and roamed decrepit empty halls still reeking of smoke and desperation. It’s not as great as you remember.
Wow this was a great read. Keep posting

Haven't played Hammond since you were knee high to a skunk.

Yes they have. $22 under 6 hrs and $42 over 6 hours.
Valet $29 and $49.
They still working on validation. High rollers get it Comp if you ask your host of course.
Poker players not so much. I know there’s a process in the works to help out poker players since their sessions are over 6 hours always.

A bunch of previous posts suggest this is not the case.

Parking attendant told me you can exit garage for free today by showing your red card, so you don't need a fancy poker room voucher.

Not sure how long until they start charging for real but I will ask next chance I get.

Did you do this (exit the garage for free today by showing your red card)? Don’t intentionally mean to be so obtuse, but the various stated garage scenarios are giving me a headache such that I can’t think straight.

I have not left yet but there are attendants standing near the pay station on B2 north telling everyone who leaves that they can show their red card to the guy at the gate and not pay.

I just spoke to the attendant in the elevator foyer. Here is what I learned:

1. Today, 7/2 their systems are down. You need to show them your parking ticket and red card to get out.

2. Once they fix the system, you’ll be able to pay for parking with 1 “compdollar.” Which you can earn playing poker. Also you don’t have to have earned that dollar same day. You just need to have 1. He didn’t have an end date for this promotion, but said it might be a while.

3. I was told floor people in the poker room have comp tickets which should make it so you don’t need any comp dollar.

This attendant seemed to know what he was talking about.

Not quite. This is the first stated opinion on the credibility of the parking lot attendants. Could be the determining factor on whether one decides to take a shot at parking in the garage tomorrow. Speaking only for myself, I’m All In, tomorrow.

Well, Ok, but do you have an opinion as to the credibility of the aforementioned attendants?
