Parx: Lotta action, almost like a candy store

I was up at Mohegan Sun @ Pocono Downs last night and I can confirm they had 4/8 Omaha h/l 1/2kill running until @ least 1 am last night. There was a list when I arrived so I played a "raisey daisy" action packed 1/2 game.


Really Sick action @ the Parx and according to the sands poker venue thread there was a also a bunch of action last night.

Parx had 5 mix games going last night, a 6-12 OE, a 30-60 HOE, 2 100-200 OE, and a 200-400 HOEA. There would have been a 15-30 OE game too if there had been more dealers available earlier, there were like 20 names on the list for it.

Already today there are already a 6-12OE, 2 30-60 HOE and a 75-150mix going.

I'm really loving all the mix game action, hope it continues to grow. There were a lot of Borgata regs from NYC at Parx this weekend with AC shut down, hopefully they like it and keep coming back.

Personally I haven't been to the PARX yet since they opened the casino. I use to go to the race track on Saturday from time to time for the ponies. It's nice to see the selection of mixed games the PARX is offering.

off topic:
tip: Not sure if it's still there but there use to be a gazebo bar off the backstretch and it use to be a great spot to chill order up some drinks and bet on the horses. I think everyone thinks it's private because hardly anyone would be out there everytime I went.

Sands:

My understanding is that they will spead NL Omaha, but not pot limit Omaha.

There apparently is a 5/10 LO8 full kill game that regularly goes off on Fridays and Saturdays, and occasionally other days.

I was at Harrah's Chester tonight, and heard them call a 3/6 limit O8 game.

The 4/8 half-kill O8 game at MS@PD has been running every Friday and Saturday night.

I heard them announcing open seating at the 20/40 stud game. I asked the dealer at my table about it and he said that it goes just about every day. Sometimes starts at 15/30.

I would like to get a regular PLO game at Harrah's Chester.
At 1-2 PLO they only let you max buy at $300 and 2-5 PLO max buy is $500.
I've been trying to get games started there.
I was wondering if a NLH/PLO Mix game would be easier to start then switch to straight PLO.

Harrahs CHester has a 20/40 stud hi game Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays...

Usually a 5/10 Omaha 8 game on fridays and saturdays...hit or miss during week...

Looking to get a 6/12 or 8/16 OE game at Del Park on Thursday 9/29 around 6pm...Any interest?

Is that an all day affair or does it get started late night?

I play @ HC a lot and am always down for a 1/2 or 2/5 PLO, either straight or NLH mx.

Stud at HC usually starts around 5 but get there early bc it fills up and getting into game is tough. It usually ends around 11-12

Did you have any luck getting a PLO off the ground at HC?

I have been traveling the last 2 weeks but I have seen this run during the week a couple of times as well.

Delaware Park has a regular 1-2 PLO and 4-8 LO8 on the weekends. PLO8 is gaining interest. Nice room if it isn't to long of a drive for you. 1-2 PLO runs on the weekdays occasionally.

Well I will use my first post to help you guys out.., I recently moved back to PA about 16 days ago and have spent about 13 of those days at the Sands... Here is a full run down for you guys.

First I can confirm from an earlier post that they will not spread a PLO game. I have talked to both floor people and Poker room Supervisors and they are waiting for Gaming commission Approval for PL games. They will spreal NL O8 or straight Omaha if you can get a list together. There are a couple regular players on this forum I believe that including myself would rather play Omaha any day of the week. the NL game was a 5/5 O8 game with crazy action from a few guys with very deep pockets. This game from what I am told when it goes, it's on a thursday night now for more of a breakdown

Starting with Limit Holdem:

Sands spreads a 3/6 Holdem game every day. This is the only Limit Holdem Game that goes every day. I have seen Interest lists for 5/10 and 10/20 get to 5 or 6 names... mostly closer to getting off on weekends. With a few players to start it I believe a regular 5/10 or 10/20 game is possible. This is a casino that despite people saying it was impossible with the area offers daily 5/5 and 5/10 NL holdem games with lists usually at least 4/5 players deep until midnight or so. Many of those players would splash around while they are waiting in a larger holdem game.

Stud/stud8

I have yet to see any form of Stud get off the ground although Ihave see a few 10/20 stud 8 lists on the weekend nights. I think they have at times spread it in a two way game with O8

Omaha/O8

Look for a more regular game to start at the Sands with this. We used to have a rotating list of about15 players that played o8 in home games and clubs in the valley I will be doing my best to get more omaha games now that I am back. Friday night there is a 5/10 full kill O8 game that starts around 7:00 and will go till early Saturday morning consistently. This past Friday we upped the game to 10/20 and attracted some new NL players. Downfall was one guy objected to the kill because they also do not allow half kill games at sands and he wasn't ok with the full 20/40 kill. We also had lists 5 or 6 deep on Thursday night and actually got a game going on wednesday last week as well that started as 5/10 w/ full kill and ended at 10/20 w/ full kill. Action was pretty good in all games and even with a couple regulars the action does not die.

I hope this helps you guys. I would love to getinput and some more regular Limit games at the sands. I know a few regulars to the Casino that have some decent pull to get the games going as long as we have the player base. One thing I can tell you is if there is any interest for a limit game on Sturday night, You would need to have it started by 4 or 5 at the latest or there will not be a free table to use to play it s they consistently fill their ENTIRE room with 1/2 - 5/10 NL games

Delaware Park (DP) gets a 1/2 PLO with a standard button straddle to $5 (not mandatory) every Friday night. The game is solid every Friday and we have had two games several times (including last Friday). The past two Sat nights we ran 1/2 PLO8. This past Sat it was an PLO/PLO8 mix.
We also get a random day game going about once a week depending on when the interest is there. We had one up yesterday (Tuesday) started around 1pm. Happens about 3-4 times a month.
