Are there benefits earned using the club card while playing?

You earn $.50/hr in comp dollars. If you play over 15 hours for the month you'll get $.75/hr and if you play over 30hrs you get $1/hr.

About an hour from Rochester. I don't know how far the rest are.

Have you guys considered moving the 1/2 back to $40-200 and making the 2/5 $200-500?

I think the 2/5 would run more often at 100BB.

No it wouldn't most people buy in full 1k to 2/5, and even if it did make it run more often it would still only be Friday nights. That would make grinders take a pretty significant paycut the rest of the week.

I can't really speak about the Monday - Thursday game because I never play those days. I do disagree about ppl buying in for 1k at the 2/5 game. The times I've played, it's a lot of $400-600 buy in's.

Maybe the solution is to run the 1/3 ($60-300) during the week and then 1/2 ($40-200) and 2/5 ($200-500) on the weekend. Not trying to over complicate, but I think it's worth consideration. To my knowledge, the 2/5 hasn't run lately and has had trouble ever picking up much traction.

The weekend crowd is split into ppl that buy in for $100 or $300 and not too much in between. I think some of the $300 buy in crowd would move to 2/5 or consider playing it more than they do now.

I think the reason the 2/5 doesn't run very often anymore is because all the players that were the reason it even ran in the first place have been banned.

Absolutely do NOT change 1/2 back to $40-200. The room simply isn't big enough to support a regular 2/5 game other than the occasional Friday or Saturday night. The current 1/2 game, with the ability to buy-in for $300, and straddles, is a great game. Don't trash it because a couple weekend guys want to play 2/5 once a week.

Will the card room be open 24 hours tonight/Thursday for new year's? Will the card room see more people playing than usual during new years etc?

Is the Iron Man tournament being held on January 31st as usual?

I'm just curious because it's not listed on the Diamond Jo website.

I'm not allowed to post on this thread anymore per 2+2 rules so any questions can be directed straight to the poker room. I'm sure you can find the phone # on the website.
