I would expect about 25-30 runners, 3 tables max. It's pretty nice out so people may pass on it.

Yea I agree with this statement. The games can certainly be great. However, they can also be the biggest nit fests available in the country.

I was playing a lot at mcc/mgm a couple years ago, then I just couldn't take all the nits/short buys. I didn't play there for over a year, then our own screaminasian posted some sick chip porn...

So I went back down into my beloved city for some 2/5, and the games were great. It's not consistent though, perhaps because of PLO raping everybody's bankrolls?

Toledo is a bit farther from me but I love it. Very nice action when they get a 2/5 going.

This is what I am talking about. Yes there are some good nights. However, most of the time at 2-5 this is what you will find. People are just straight up broke and can't afford to play poker in Detroit. This makes me question whether or not I even want to keep playing the game. I might as well make better use of my time as poker is too time consuming if you are playing in dead games with no profit potential. Literally, you will be at tables where most of the table only plays 99+ and when they do they just limp and try to trap you. You cannot put any type of pressure on them. Sometimes they will raise and pot pot pot it down. You cannot profitably call them. If the flop looks good they will go with it. This means you pretty much have to cooler them. If the flop does not look good they play fit or fold. They just kill all the seats in the game. They make the game unprofitable for someone who plays and attempts to win. They are too stupid to see that they will not win playing so tight against these people who play the same way they do. The only one who stands to win is the house.

Thanks! Game is pretty good. Lots of gambling, but I've been card dead. Round by round is running too. They just did the chip switch because of the charity room limits, and they must have lost like 20 minutes in the from every table.

Sorry! Didn't see this until now. Just came out of the movie, Now You See Me. Give it a 6 out of 11. Entertaining, but you have to overlook some shoddy dialogue and some lame story twists.
