Back home this week for some sweet Detroit poker action, let's see if I run good this time. I'll probably be at MCC later tonight playing 1/2, if not, then tomorrow.

I also may or may not hit up a strip club or 12.

Probably. 2/5 would probably sell out of $15k in maybe 4 hours. Just think how fast the Plo goes through $$. I rarely saw them switch chips at that game before they got busted but maybe I just didn't notice

damn interesting....i left before the Mgcb or whatever took over.
My knowledge with all facets of running and operating a room are as good as anyones.

But with a new sheriff in town...people better watch out.

I don't think anything has changed with the rules recently (outside of dealer tips), just the MGCB has the manpower to monitor, investigate and enforce the rules.

i know everyone wants to think about what a raw deal this is for the players...and the dealers and what not.. But i never ceases to amaze me no one really care about the charities.

these people dont get paid,,,volunteer their time all during the day..and do this instead of car washes,,,bottle drives...or bingo. i had so many of them thank us for having this avenue available to us.

On charity was run and founded by the mother of a young girl who committed suicide. Single mom...trying to keep her daughters memory alive, help prevent other kids from doing the same....stayed and ran her charity from open to close all 4 days. Do you really want to tell me that if your the Gaming supplier owner,,that you want to throw the rules out and and screw this charity,,this mom just so you can make a buck?

I remember before i left ...every single charity that came through the room had their books audited. they once found we over sold by $35,,,really....we got so much **** from them about that.

but the charities where now aware that they get put in jeapordy first,,,and started being more active, aware and informed. they were just as concious about the rules as we are.
We havent even begun to ask the questions of how many charities let under 18 yrs old in without ID

So thats why i see less and less bikini girls in the summer time washing cars near gas stations.

But seriously, i think thats my main beef right now. Ive heard a lot of "but hes done so much for the charities" from other people. Yet i think hes set them back by not following the rules. Id love to hear the full story as id like to give someone the benefit of the doubt. I just find it odd that no one has done an interview with the guy (besides a local paper fluff piece).

I guess another question i have for Caveman. How long have you been trying to get your charity in there and how long have they known your a vocal member of the community.

My wife runs these twice a year but no bikini's. School functions have dress codes they are supposed to follow.

I tried to get a statement from them but was unsuccessful. I doubt they wanted to say anything while they are being investigated and I wouldn't blame them.

I think I've been on the list since May. That was when I took of the charitable gaming for the band boosters prior to becoming president. Don met with me regarding the website about 2 months ago. I have no idea if my 'vocal member' status helped when they decided to move to 12 charities.

Just to clarify to ppl that haven't read 1000's of posts ITT, this quote was in jest. If Caveman obv follows all rules!

Back to business: they really had scantily-clad beautiful babies at Snooookers last night? Damn my puking virus! Bikinis in Michigan in December, not to be missed!

They were beauties. I'm not sure but I think I might have been at the table with Omaha. #7 was looking good
