NO LIMIT POKER ROOM GAMES
$50-$200, $200-$500, $300-$2000 and $500 to No Max
What are the blinds for these table limits?
I will be coming to Detroit for the #Movement festival and looking forward to checking some poker games.
Staying near Hart Plaza. Is MGM my best choice? How late do games go? Expect to be busy this weekend?
Thanks in advance for your help.
So I ended up only checking out
Greektown's poker room since it was only 3 blocks walking distance from my room at the Marriott Renaissance Center during the Memorial Day weekend.
I was only able to play for a few hours on Saturday afternoon. The room and tables were nice and comfortable. It was quiet room that day, only 4 tables running and a daily tournament wrapping up. I was able to get a seat immediately and sat at a friendly 1-2 NLH game. It was mostly regulars who knew each other and the dealer. Good and friendly dealers. There was one other Movement DEMF attendee playing and we both recognized each other by our 'weekend pass' arm bands. Pretty easy table, i doubled up in under 2 hours and had to leave to go to the event.
I went again the next afternoon but there was a waitlist and i couldnt play.
All-in-all, i was really pleased and impressed with the poker options in downtown Detroit. Especially since i was in Detroit for a holiday weekend and didn't even know about the casino options until a few weeks before, it was a total bonus to my trip.
Next time i will come earlier and check out the MGM Grand and Motor City hopefully.
Detroit area poker players should be proud and grateful for all of these options.
