I had the priviledge of playing poker last night with Jose, Joker, and 1game at Cadas. Good times! If you ever get a chance to sit next to 1game when he is drinking, take advantage of it. I pretty much guarentee you will laugh your ass off.

I would feel bad about sucking out on a guy who flopped tens full of sixes when I turned kings full on the turn last night, but I've been coolered too many times the last two weeks.

60% of my game is based on putting coolers on players.

At greektown, 5 at my table are decked out in tigers. One guy really drunk can't look at his cards with his right arm cause he got hit by a car earlier.

Really sucks arse. I was looking forward to it as always. I just cannot understand why both sides wouldn't want this. It was their largest event without a re-entry.

I road it down the street without a break light/lens and tags. (because of the accident) There's a cop that lives at the end of the street. He was looking at me funny and his 4 yo was in a Power Wheels Cop car. Good thing I was able to outrun him!

At the 9:00 drawing at Greektown, you could not hear who won, About 5 mins later they said the winner did not claim his prize. I think it was me Lin and because they do not like me they covered it.up Is that legal?

I was told their Friday night tourney was 30k, 20 min blinds. That lasted all of 3 levels before lowering it to 15 min blinds and turned into a shove fest 2.5 hours in.

Yikes, are you talking about the Tuesday drawing. I never understood how fast you had to run up and collect your prize. As far as I know they've never announced a time limit, feels like a minute. You'd have to comb through the fine print on their promotion rules, might have them on the website.

Are you Lin that plays Omaha hi-low? I'd be really surprised if they don't like you there since I've never seen you get out if line. Now if AKQJT got his ticket pulled I'd be willing to bet that they threw it away and picked another

Had a funny little thing happen at the joke of a room that is Greektown.

I was down there yesterday for opening day, and got there around 730am, thinking I would play a bit of poker (and park free), then meet my buddies at the bars for opening day around 9am. There wasn't a game going on, so I just waited until about 810am when they started a new game with 6 players on the list.

First, the poker cage had just closed for some reason (though it was open at 800am when I cashed some chips from table games, so no means to buy chips. No problem says the floor, we will just buy them from the table.

Second, I pull out $200, as does another player, the rest of the guys pull out $100-150ish. The dealer looks at his chips, and says, "Since I only have $600, and we have 6 players, let's just all buy-in for $100." I quickly laugh and tell the floor we need more money, so he proceeds to get more chips from another table as well.

I know it's a tired bit, but it never ceases to amaze me how slow and bad the dealers are down there, relative to the ones in the charity rooms.

That sounds about right. They get 200 runners so first is right around $2K.

This Saturdays tourney is their "Ironman Tourney". Max 60 runners, $250 buy-in, 30K chips and 30 min blinds.
