I'm not, but I can't wait to take a shot at that game again. Played it a couple of times and there are some aggro gamblers in that game for sure. Makes for huge stacks. Let us know how you did!

We play .50/1 stakes, all non stud games are No Limit. When the table is 7 players or less we can play stud. When we play stud H/L or razz the dealer chooses the limit. It is a variation of regular limit, its Spread limit with 7th street being double the bet. So 2/4/8 limit is 2 on 3rd and 4th street, 4 on 5th and 6th street, and 8 dollars on 7th. It is spread limit though, so if you want at any time you can bet less than the limit. Dealer can choose, 2/4/8, 3/6/12, 4/8/16, and 5/10/20. Usually only the bigger stakes at the end of the night when people are deep.

The no limit games are tahoe, pineapple, crazy pineapple, two board hold em, hold em, omaha, omaha h/l 8, omaha h/l 7, and big O (5 card omaha h/l). All these games are legal unless there are too many people at the table you cant play big O.

Most people there love to play H/L and it is a lot of limping and drawing. It becomes kind of bingo and nut peddling so it makes you go crazy sometimes. But you get paid when you have a big hand because pots get big.

I will ask the runner of the game if you want to play this friday. Starts 8:45 and we play till 7am sometimes.

Went to the berg last tonight. No 2/5 game and there was only one table of 1/2. Kinda disappointing because I have seen 3 games going on Tuesdays. Anyways Reggie, the room manager said they will be running 1/3 PLO on Thursdays which was interesting.

Even though only one game was running, it was pretty juicy. After I stacked off on a 1082 flop where I 3bet pre to 65 with 77 and got two callers, I clawed my way back with some well timed aggression and hands. At one point there were 4 players at the table with 600+. Most pots were opened and people played wide ranges. I ended profiting +430.

I cant figure out why I drive to Nit Reg infested MCC when there are juicy games here. I guess I like to mix it up and not play vs the same people all the time.

The only reason I drive downtown anymore is because you don't have to end your session because of the time. Also, there is always action down there, and the berg tends to be hit or miss before 8p.

I've heard that one before ... haven't seen it yet.
But I'd love to play it if it runs.

Wow, the Greektown O8 was good last night. I happened to be to the left of a guy who was so bad at Omaha, it was making me a little empathetic toward him. E.g., On the river the board is something like KT4-5-T. Loose regular checks, our guy bets something like top pair (say AK, although he's probably betting any top pair here), loose reg raises, our guy calls, loose reg shows KT, our guy bemoans his luck that top pair was no good there.

Value bet? bluff? I was never quite sure, watching him blow through stack after stack betting any weak draw or weak made hand and then call down to showdown with any low, any pair, etc.

Unsurprisingly, the game lasted longer than it has been -- i left at 11:30 and it had picked up steam again.

Nothing better than getting it in pre with QQ vs. AK. Flop is AsKsx. Guy shows me his AK, another guy says he folded a queen and I backdoor two spades to scoop the pot at Snooker's yesterday!
