Played at MGM today/night and saw 2 of the worst rulings I've seen there in *years* in the same day at the same table, from two different floors. And both times none of the floors I know were around to get called over.

$2 limp, guy makes it $10, next player shoves all in for $16. I call, as do a whole bunch of other players. $10 guy makes it $75. I tell him he can't, as do a few other people. He says "It's twice the raise! $8 to $16!" Floor rules that he *can* raise, I muck and go look for the head floor.

Check, guy bets $17, next guy shoves for $32, call, call, guy that checked attempts to raise to ~$100. Gets told he can't. Floor comes over, gets an unclear story from the dealer, half the players talk at once, he rules the action is capped.

Dealers should know that rule. Floor people should know that rule. I've *seen* it ruled correctly dozens of times there before. Today was full of fail.

75 remain, 54 get paid, $56k for first.

I have kind of a funny table draw.

Seat 1 60,000
Seat 2 103,000
Seat 3 61,000
Seat 4 40,000
Seat 5 Empty
Seat 6 92,500
Seat 7 44,000
Seat 8 87,500
Seat 9 276,500 (me)

On the other hand I see 3 tables that will each have 3 players with at least 200k.

Day twos are always exciting though. Good luck us.
Glglgl hope you bink it!

What's the rule there? I don't see anything wrong with the first call, and I'm not sure I understand what happened in the second one. Was it pf?

In the first situation there was an $8 raise and then somebody went all in for $6 more. The original raiser cannot re-raise.

In the second situation from what I understand somebody checked and then after some betting when the action came back to him he was not allowed to raise.

Desrves the ruling for his imaginative argument. Fooled O8. GL to day twoers. Even those playing Venetian.

That 2nd one is horrible. lol. I was there last night as well. Played 1/2 for 2 hours before going to MCC as I could not get on 2/5. What table was this at 2nd from glass, wall?

Yup. Exactly correct.

I spoke to the lead floor about the first one afterward when I found him and he immediately knew the right rule. Asked a couple of dealers too and they knew the right rule in both situations.

Right next to the cage. It was loud and I'm not sure the floor was hearing the story/dealers right.

Much busier than I'd expected even for a Saturday, but got seated quickly enough before 6.

punted my way out of toledo. was looking at the flat payouts for the next 40ish places so I: 4bet shoved pf over an 8x 3bet that looked like a squeeze. for 35 bbs, Ak v AA. not ideal.

I wouldn't call it a punt on a 4bet shove w/ ak. Nice run bout. What was up top?

Yea...it was busier then I thought it be to. Which floor made the wrong call?

First guy was some slightly Arab looking guy that I didn't recognize.

Second one was one of the Taller black guys that I can't for the life of me remember his name. I *know* I've seen him rule correctly before, and I blame the dealer for doing a poor job of explaining and the noise in the room for the chaos for a large part of that one.

Ok thanks. Yea the Arab guy must work days I've only seen him when I'm there before 8. On the other, if it's who I'm thinking(his name starts why Y), then I like you have seen him make usually correct calls.
