Why play that crap structure when you can play a good one at Queen of Hearts or an ok one at Momos?

According to poker atlas Momo's tourneys are 50bb starting stack. 15 minute blinds.
Agree that QoH is best.

1000 bbs I believe. (200k, 100 200). Not that that matters a lot. Structures can get fast quick even after a huge starting stack. More play at momos' tournaments than vision's by the end of the night. And I would say the play is much worse.

Anyone played the 5 star lanes Saturday PLO tourney? or any of their other tourneys recently?

7 cash tables and 2 tournament tables at MGM right now. Playing 1/2 but there is a 2/5 running and for some reason I'm in the PLO list too.

looks like the only room with plo tourneys, thurs is 40 and sat is 60. saturday game you get more chips but both have 15min levels. if no one comments I may just go check it out one of these upcoming thursdays when I am bored.

i think I asked about that room some time ago and got some generic replies about the player pool being mostly chaldean.

Firekeepers had 290 entries .. finished 44th out of the money (paid 31) ... Structure seemed fine until after 2nd break. Then 'a lot' of folks were in the 5-25bb range. Couldn't get any cards to shove with. Passed on A8 UTG in one spot and would've tripled up v TT and A6, oh well. They blew through the money bubble pretty quick but FT went past Midnight ... $22K up top. Casey Carroll (2016 Spring HPT champ) finished in 3rd ($10K).

Cash games were good, both 2/5 and PLO had feeder tables for a few hours once the tournament started to break down. They only kept 1 cash table going at the start of the tournament and had 80 alternates that made it into the tournament by the middle of level 8 (600/1200). 40K starting stack. GL

So someone mentioned to me that MGM or Motor City gave away prizes like iPads for playing 40 hours a week some time in the recent past. Can anyone here confirm?

Motor City was giving out headphones in December (maybe November?). Didn't hear anything about iPads.
