Nice tight fold on the first 2/5 (despite the 20/20 river hindsight). Respek!!

I assumed the AAxx folds were post-flop.

haha, brothers from another mother. I cracked my 2004 bottle last night. The 2nd 2004 I have had, much better (and older) than the 05 and 06 bottles I had.

Yep, I am planning a trip to KY this year so I can finally try/buy some of the HHBIB and find some other things we can't buy in MI. I will probably bring home a case of it because I love HH stuff and BIB bourbon.

Yes .. Post-Flop .. If not please remove me from room very quietly never to return.

Surprisingly very few 3-bets all day ... It seemed like every time I tried to get into position for one the opposite of what I needed happened. The 3-bets that did happen still went 3-ways to the Flop. Really no (good) excuse for not getting at least one in during the session .. .. GL

You need to talk to DutchBoy about such things more than me, but Founders (which is no longer 'craft' beer since they are too big) is purchasing some empty barrels from a bourbon/whiskey mfg for something they have coming out. Must be the want the flavor 'left' in the wood to integrate with their concoction. GL

I don't drink beer anymore, even if finished in bourbon barrels. I haven't had even a sip of beer in over 2 years. Bourbon or GTFO.

I had the New Holland Beer Barrel Bourbon a year or so ago and that was the worst finished bourbon/whiskey I have ever had, other than the Alberta Rye Dark that is finished in port barrels.

Good luck. I have been wanting to go but a bit hungover and need to rotate my sleep schedule to a more normal one. This waking up (hungover) at 4 or 5 without an alarm is getting old.

On that note, did you know that a lot of used bourbon barrels are re-used for scotch?http://www.bruichladdich.com/article...ourbon-barrels

up at 3 am today, seems like the only way to get back on a normal schedule is keep waking up an hour earlier every day for the next 2 or 3 weeks until I can wake up at 7 or 8....... or maybe I can force myself to take a 3 or 4 hour nap this afternoon then drink my face off tonight and stay up past midnight?? The latter combination of options sounds more enjoyable!!

It still won't make me ever drink another scotch. Scotch was my entry to whiskey a few years ago, then I moved to Irish, now I wouldn't touch either unless there was no bourbon to be had.

Fozzy, I'm not a Scotch drinker either, just thought it was interesting. A bourbon and cigar olde dog here! My standard is Old Forester and I like Woodford Reserves, both distilled by Brown-Forman. Working thru a bottle of Makers this weekend with a couple of cigars. My humidor has about 150 ageing right now, Big selection! Always take along a cigar for the Friday night poker.

Thinking to give Vision Tournament another go tonight. Have played 12 tournaments there, with 4 final tables, 1 FT bubble and a couple down to last 3 tables. I'll be the Old Dog with a black Taylor Made golf hat. Where is everyone playing?

let us know how the poker room (and food) is. Their facebook reviews look good but the yelp seems to be a mixed bag. I love me a good shawarma wrap.

And Flip makes an early exit, per usual, with 4 tables left. Bout and I sitting at same table.
