Has anyone in this thread been to 59 West in Highland? I just saw on the web that they have a game there, and it's closer to my house than Doc's or 300 Bowl.

Yeah, open wed thru sat, get rxr on wed night, 1/2 nl other nights and runs tourneys that start around 7, cash games follow when people show or tourney players bust..dont play tourneys so cant comment much on em

hello all,

I'm in Detroit for work for a month or two and looking to play some 1-2-5 PLO. Sounds like motor city casino is my best option? I actually wouldn't mind trying to get comps at places like MGM for vegas trips. I'd appreciate if any locals could give me some insight on the games.

Yeah they get some good games, like any charity place few tourney players who like to blow a hundo or two trying cash..

To see a game 'for sure' Motor City has 2/5 running almost 7 days a week, certainly by Noon each day if the game breaks in the wee morning. MC doesn't have a players program, but does offer a continental bar of food and drink as long as you are in the room playing poker.

I am told that MGM's game can get going at night during the week and will run 24 hours from Friday to Sunday.

I have not seen 2/5 listed at Greektown very much, but they do run some games that run deep or have high minimum buyins that create action of a 2/5 game. GL

called windsor and would say they didnt make it inviting to come play--they dont even offer the wsop seat although they continue to advertise for it

looks like toledo for me this weekend--that tournament -either the 330 or the 1100 depending how i feel

its the first weekend of the satellites
