Playing at Cada's while I wait to talk to Patrick about plans for the party. They have 4 tables running for their 7 pm tournament and 3 cash tables running. I'm even so far.

Tried to get to Cada's today around 4 but they didn't have a cash game going...headed to snookers and was able to get a seat right away. Nice little run of cards let me take a profit today. I guess the place to play during the day time is Snookers until Cada's can get up and running.

I've seen rooms do all kinds of crazy promotions to get the early bird players to come in, but even in Vegas there's a dearth of poker mid morning and most of those games have been running over 24 hours!

Once I tried going to Greektown before 6 am to get my game on before work. There was a crazy game that had been going on all night and it ended with a 5-way all-in preflop where a crusty reg slow rolled the whole table and then called the all-ins with aces. He had everyone covered and his aces won. So sick. Game broke after that hand since villain cashed out.

i was talking to joe 2 days ago and he said they tried to spread it out but it's not allowed and couldn't make it happen.

It was a month back. I went there like twice that week while it was high like that and place was not packed. Guess people dislike that much. I've always liked playing there fwiw.

So I'm at Cada's on Wednesday this week setting up the party details. Terry Foster from 97.1 The Ticket arrives at about 8 pm and they start getting ready to give out swag including a pair of Lions tickets, so I stick around and play some 1/2. Joe Cada is there as usual and he starts up a 1/3 game. Shockingly, two of the worst players at our table get up to go play it. I wasn't going to stick around much longer after the drawing, so I stay. Ling story short, my number gets called, I win two gift certificates for food at Cada's but I don't win Lions tickets.

But, guess what? After the drawing, Terry Foster announces that Cada's will give away two more pairs of tickets Saturday night. That's right, the night of our party. We run good. Would be funny if someone in this thread wins tickets. Like me.
