Short TR: they have 2 tables and blackjack table. The room is roped off the back of the bar/restaurant area. I liked the feel of playing in some private game with gawkers stopping by to check out the action, and some actually deciding to jump in to try their luck.
Once the music from the club started upstairs it was a different feel to the place. Scenery was nice and the wait staff and dealers were friendly. Enjoyed playing there even there were only 6 players while I was there. Room manager said that they have 6-7 regulars that show up each night but Friday night was more of a club night.
Two hands of note: doubled up player to my left when my two pair (AJs) on the flop lost all-in when his AQo goes runner runner for the straight. Was about even the rest of the night until I lost with trips against a river flush. Then got back to even when I got paid off hitting a boat on the river.
Felt bad for one of the drop-in players who bought in for $20, waited to get it in with aces pre-flop, hit an ace on the flop for a set only to lose to a straight. But really, $20 buy-in?
This room might be too small to make it in the long run, but I suspect the easy money will attract a few regulars until the game dries up or gets moved to a bigger location. Their blackjack action was steady the whole night.
