Must be something about the East Coast WPT's, b/c a number of years ago a charity donk from GR somehow luckboxed 2nd place at Foxwoods. Then he came back and continued to get schooled in $30 Wed night tournaments.

Only have a small amount of experience at the table with Jose, can't comment on his behavior; I do know about his hand-reporting drama post-WSOP this year. Dude grinds it, that's for sure, but I never thought his markup matched anywhere close to his results. Then again, I think buying at markup is pretty stupids anyways.

Of course now the people who have been consistently dumping $ into something like that believe they made a great investment. And other people see it happen, so the Marketplace continues to move along.

I couldn't get anything rolling tonight. Lost big chunk of my stack on a 10 high board with JJ. Guy had QQ. Then it was all downhill. Went out at break with kq off vs 1010. Hit my k on the flop along with him hitting his set on it. Just a bad night for me playing.

That kind of crap is why I'm only playing on one site (Americas Cardroom, Winning Poker Network). The last time I checked, the Cake Poker Network had a $100 withdrawl fee. I have $25 on the site and tried to cash out and close my account. They refused to give me the money. Fortunately I just put a few bucks on the site to check it out, I didn't take any kind of serious hit.

I'm pretty much in Trust No Poker Site mode at this point. Even with Americas Cardroom I only have about 1/4 of my online bankroll on the site. If there was any live poker on the Michigan Lakeshore, I would probably hardly being paying online poker at all.
