^ Yeah that.

Toledo will be on your way from PA, (you may have to go 10 miles or so out of your way to get there) but you'll have easy access to the airport from the freeway on your way into town. Good luck on the PLO in my opinion though. Not sure it'd be running on a Thursday afternoon.

Perhaps try the Cleveland Horseshoe?

If you're doing anything other than 80/90 through Ohio coming from the east coast you're doing it wrong. Normally I's recommend taking 80/90 to 23 and that north to AA. But doing anything other than getting off on 75 and hitting hollywood before continuing up 75 to 275 to the airport is a fish move.

When I drove out for the michigan osu game in Nov I did 80 through all of PA and OH, then turned at Toledo.

What is the name of the place? If no plo what other options, many 1-2' nl any lo8?

What about plo in Cleveland

Also about how long would i expect it would take from either place to the airport?

Back down at MCC trying to recover from yesterday. Guy from the $1300+ quads pot is at my table. At least he isn't in tears this time when whining about that hand.

Then again why would you need a range finder if you always drive the green.

Idk to most of that. Just go to Toledo (Hollywood Casino) and play 1/2 and be happy if a 2/5 game opens.

It'll take about 40-50 minutes to get to the airport from there.

Is running up 75 really that much faster?

It takes me almost exactly an hour to get back to Ann Arbor coming up 23, and I have a heavy foot.

Hollywood is 15 miles from the Michigan border. 275 splits off 75 at exit 19. The airport is around exit 17 on 275. Assuming we're going between 70 and 75mph the whole way, I think 45 minutes is a fair estimate.

Interesting factoid: The River in Shelby runs a 1/2 round by round every day except Friday and Saturday. Has been a full table every time I've checked it out.

OK, now I've actually pulled the maps. The airport is actually 10 miles *closer* to the casino than where I live. And it avoids that nasty 475 speedtrap. i usually count from the time I get in the car to the time I get out, which includes all of the surface streets, traffic lights, and parking garage bull****.

You live in Ann Arbor though? I'm going to being living there all summer. Is Heidelberg worth it or should I just commute to Detroit or Toledo?

Depends if you like short sessions or not. Usually lots of money and action, but game doesnt go until 7p.

Edit: I live 5 blocks from the Berg.

I do prefer short sessions actually. It's just I heard it's one of the tougher charity games. I'll be living about a 10 minute walk from there.

They have great beer and good food. Which is honestly what draws me in when I decide to play there, a hankering for a german beer and wiener schnitzel.

My experience is that the game is very hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get a good table that you can manipulate or exploit well, and other times you get a bunch of reasonably good regs that kill your winrate. Table selection is pretty non-existant (as with most charity games).

You don't have to go all the way downtown to find other charity rooms either. It's not too far to get to NVD or Momos or Vision.

Yeah I'll probably just become a Northville reg most likely. I'll check it out though.
