Fwiw I saw Anchorman 2 three times in four nights, baked every time. Trust me, that's the way to view that masterpiece. Her, Nebraska, and Dallas Buyers Club were all excellent in their own rights as well.
I completely agree about American Hustle, was trying to be more grandiose than it actually was, and fell short of expectations, although it was still a good film. Amy Adams deserves serious Oscar consideration.
That brings us to Wolf of Wall Street. This was hands down the best film of the year. Leo deserves best actor, it will easily win best adapted screenplay, should win best film, and his wife in the movie is ridiculously hot. It is 3 hours long, 2 of which involve sex and drugs, how could you go wrong?

played cash tonight at soaring eagle, first time in at least a year. played 1-2 for about 2 hours, O8 for an hour. was reeeeally boring actually. came out ahead 20 bucks or something. one hand: don't remember the board exactly but it was a raised pot pf, flop was checked through. 7 on the turn, i hesitated for about 10 seconds, then checked. river 7. i figure i must bet. 1/2 pot, everyone folded, i had jack high.

If you have a 28bb/hour win rate and actually play 500hrs, then I question why you aren't moving up to 5/10.
And sample size has to be greater than 500 hours due to the depth of the player field. More players, more hours need to be played to actually establish a win rate.

I don't expect this current rate to last forever...just happy I got off to a positive start.
