Just a friendly reminder to all:

Yesterday at MCC this guy sits down with 50ish in a 1/2. Has no clue how to play! Worst I've seen in a while. ie., He has A3os and calls 2 all ins on a Qhi flop, 3 hearts. He catches perfect perfect to win. NH...right? wrong! Every one on his end of the table made a huge deal about it and were very condescending to him. He loses that and leaves. (I think he had already rebought min twice)

After I cash out, I walk through the pit and guess who I see? Yuppers, it's that guy sitting there playing bj with over $100 by himself.

Moral of the story: Don't be a jerk to a philanthropist because if you are they may just prefer to donate to the casino.

Where this becomes noteworthy is that he said that he'll try to make the Saturday game this weekend and should be at Pampa's next week. So, you other PLO8 players had best not be lame and get yer asses to Cada's Saturday at 6pm sharp.
I have two new people that I'm going to send your way, Joker. I am going to be at Electric Stick that night, so if I make it, it will be later in the night and probably depend on how deep I make it in their tournament that night.

Stopping at Cadas for PLO8 after a cash in the Stick tournament does sound like a good night out to me.

I can't believe this still happens today. How many years have people on this forum been preaching not to talk down to players. #whenwillpeoplelearn

It seems to happen more at MCC. Some of the grinders are still trying to get even from 2003.

What's the buy in? Is the structure decent?

I believe it is a $35 buy-in. Never played there, so I have no idea if the structure is good or not. Will report on it after the tournament.

The entire poker aspect aside I can't believe that people treat another human being this way in a social setting.

Add in gambling/money and people can be disgusting.

+1 my reading comprehension skills.
Its been pretty eventful already for my first trip to electric stick. Got to watch a fight go down and have the cops show up and arrest a guy.

That's a very good point. It's like a grown up version of playground bullying.

Change of plans. Not going to the Electric Stick tomorrow after all. Schedule snafu. Probably Cada's 6 PM PLO8 game for at least a couple of hours.

Yep. Come play PLO8 after you bust out. I'm the one that's wearing a black Lions cap with a blue brim and a shirt with the Joker on it.
