Anthony will correct me if I'm wrong.

Sit n go's 45.00 buy in with 12 minute blinds

11:00 AM during the week. 65.00 buy in 20 minute blinds. They are getting 100 plus runners at these now

Weekends 150.00 buy in and 30 minute blinds (not positive about the time blind change, as they should have crowds coming on the weekends. I heard that they will be 30 when the new room opens, but it looks to like these weekends are already on the schedule in the present room and therefore, to move them along, may have a shorten blind structure since they'll start with 10,000 TC instead of the 5000 TC that weekday's have.

Was there this evening. They ran several sit-n-goes, with a $45 buy-in. The pay out was $170, $100, $70 for the top 3 spots. With 10 players, that means it is really a $34+$11 tournament. Blinds are raised every 12 minutes, and you start with 3,000 chips. At least, that is what I heard - I didn't play in one.

btw its a shame because brandon is a big reason poker has come to delaware he just couldnt compete with del park he did try though. He plays there alot now though.
Some of my players had played there- I wondered if it would survive. Too bad.

WORD!
Brandon is WAY cool for his efforts. I played at DEPokerroom a number of times and it was the best thing around at the time.
Not only is it to Brandon's credit that Poker is in DE, but the very fact that the players in and near that area have a built in expectation has brought DE Park's level of service up above the other card rooms.
Thanks for all your efforts Brandon and see you at the tables.

Any update on fixing/moving the shin breakers? They are not usable as foot rests and are very annoying and in the way.

That, and what feels like a very unsafe walk to my car, are my only criticisms of the room. I really enjoyed my first visit there and plan on returning often.

Reading Anthony Chester's post, it looks like this weekend. I'll be at the room this afternoon for a few hours and try to get that clarified. As I read it, there will be table satellites early for 45.00 to a 150.00 tourney starting at noon both Sat and Sun with 10,000 in TC. At least that's how I read it.

Park near a trolley stop and ride to your car late at night. The trolley runs every 5 minutes 24/7. It's easier on the nerves. That dark alley paddock walk can get the juices flowing. Or Vallet is only 4 bucks plus tip. After 11, your car gets moved to the main casino entrance and it's a longer walk inside the caisno than the middle valet entrance. But, like I said, easier on the neves than the dark walk through the trees.

Found out a few minutes ago that the tournament schedule Anthony posted is in play. The weekend tournaments will indeed be starting this Saturday.

Played in the 3/6 Pineapple & Omaha/8 mixed game for an hour or so this afternoon. Never played either game before - tons of fun! It was mostly 5 handed, but the floor let us go the whole time with no rake.

Will be there tomorrow night (Thursday) and would love to play that mix. Hope it gets going. Regardless I will put myself on a list for 3/6 mixed game.

I almost went to play that pineapple game today, but was stuck at a decent action table and didn't want to leave. I saw it playing and wanted to real bad. Wish I knew more about the strategy. Looks like fun. I will also try to get on that list tomorrow, but don't expect to get there until 5 or 6.

At the desk they have papers that give you the compete blind structure for the tournaments that begin this weekend. Until the new room gets open, they will play the $150.00 with 20 minute blinds, but with a decent starting stack of twice the present 65.00 tournament. BTW, I was told that the completion date for the new room is Sept. 21, but who knows what will happen that could push it back.

I did manage to donk out 45.00 in one of the sit n go's just for the fun of it. First out.

Played the $65 Tourney (50 to prize pool, 10 vig, 5 to staff) today
Around 95 entries..... 20 min blinds....just call me "bubble boy" :-(

Not thrilled with the blind structure, but ok for $65 I guess.
Blinds double each of the first 4 levels and then antes are added ...... 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400/25, 300/600/50, 400/800/75, 600/1200/100 etc.

I realized on the ride home last Sunday that I should have proposed the 3/6 Pineapple game use kill pots. Anthony said in this thread that if it is unanimous, they'll do it. If you start a 3/6 Pineapple game, which is probably made up of players who want to try something different, try also adding in kill pots.

Was there last night playing some 3/6 LHE. It was a good bunch of players, some who would have defintely played at a higher limit. So I proposed kill pots. It was unanimous except for 1 player. Actually, in this thread, Anthony said if it was only 1 player, they'd move that one player and allow kill pots, but I thought this was the only 3/6 game going, so we dropped the proposal.

Soon after that a new player sat down who raised EVERY single hand. He single handedly changed it to a much, much bigger game than 3/6 - which seemed to help everyone but him.

I'm assuming the $45 Satellites are Sit and Go's. Correct?

Also, I heard there was going to be some Knockout tournaments sometime. Is this true?
If so, when?

It's rumored the midnight tournament may be KO/bounty tournaments, but nothing is final yet.

Hello Anthony, This is my first complaint I've had since the room opened.Tuesday evening I was seated at table 13 a 5 handed 3-6 table for over an hour while the other table 18 was remaining full, with new players being seated or choosing to sit on their own without being called or having someone from DP staff seat them. Our table also lost our sixth player to the other table when she picked up her chips and went over to the empty seat and started playing. The floor was made aware of this players move and did nothing and later made aware of the new players always going to table 18 again shook his head shrugged his shoulders and did nothing. All the while table 13 is playing at half rake costing DP money. I realize it's hard to control us players at times. But I would have liked to have seen a better response from the floor in correcting this issue. I hope it's not just me whining about this! and that other players would want to keep the tables balanced. Sorry for crying, thanks for your time.

Sounds like you may have been talking to a dual rate rather than a floor. Dual rates are dealers that are assisting the floormen for a shift.

Shouldn't matter. All the dual rates are full time dealers and have been trained in the rules of all the games and in "poker etiquette". I've been there a number of times, playing short and movement between tables is simply not allowed unless a "table change" is requested. Even a dual rate floor should have moved the player back. Without the rules it's a little like chaos. Whenever I play a "limp em" table with consistently small pots, I ask for a table change, but would never consider or be allowed making a move without the floor. You should private IM Anthony with the floor name so he can set the person straight lest that sort of thing happen again. Not to get the guy in trouble because I don't know a full timer there that I don't like. I've observed the dual rates to be very good in the box and on the floor and the shift supervisors to be excellent.

I believe that this room wants to be the best around and letting Anthony know when a problem is present and who is responsible are important components to growing the opportunity. Just don't post a name on this board lest dark forces issue warnings or post deletions. That's what the PM board is for.

I'll see if I can scan in and post the weekend 150.00 tournament structure which begins this Saturday August 28.
