is this the best place to play in DE? i'll be at univ of DE next friday afternoon and was thinking about getting in a few hours in the late morning/early afternoon

Games a pretty good most nights of the week.
Almost all regulars, but they are pretty face up and not particularly creative.
Probably lower variance but slightly lower profit than some of the other casinos in the area.

Sucks that considering how this room started out that it's become a NLH and PLO only room. Loved the HORSE and O8 tourneys they used to have.

I agree. I find it hard to believe that there are no casinos in the region that offer monthly non-holdem tournaments. It was a 100 mile trip each way from my home in Maryland but I still made it to most of the HORSE and O/8 tournaments and even one Crazy Pineapple. Starting October 5th, the Harrington DE casino will resume their weekly Omaha/O/8 tournaments on Wednesdays.

i was thinking about making a trip to deleware park, but cash games seem pretty dead during the week ( only 1 or 2 tables of 1/2 nl). is this the norm? seems pretty slow for the amount of tables they have.

No $5 bring-in, buy-in IIRC is $200-$500, and the game runs semi-regularly. Maybe runs about half the week? I would keep an eye on the Bravo. The 5/5 game runs all the time.

They change the structure of freerolls every other month or so. Sometimes it's monthly, sometimes weekly, sometimes no freeroll at all. I'd expect probably 50-70 entrants.

Anyone know about the days/ hours that the 5-5 plo game runs? Seems like it goes almost every day. Is it 500-2500 buyin? I may be moving to they area and would be a regular. Thanks.
