Anywhere from 45 - 75 depending on the week. Normally around 60 runners.
And the cash games are good just about all night of the week, but Thursday - Sunday are very good.
They have a 5/10NLHM game going on Thursdays now which draws a lot of the better 2/5 players into that game, and as a result, a lot of the better 1/2 players into the 3-4 2/5 games and leaves all the really bad 1/2 players there for easy picking.

DP is gonna take a huge hit once Maryland Live starts getting poker running. A lot of people from MD, including myself, will have no reason to come here anymore.

Sad too, as DP is such a well-run room. Take this management team to AC, LV, LA, or DC-area, and that room would be very popular. Sucks to say, but it's a waste of management talent.

I see the mixed game is running. Bravo live show a full table at 10-20 no limit with 3 on the waiting list. DP site show it running as 8-16 limit.

What are the stakes?
What is the mix?
Limit or No Limit?
Do you think it will run into the evening today?

You're probably right, but I have high hopes that just the quality of their tournament action will keep the poker scene going there. Still, I agree completely about the staff; DP is the only place where I've seen consistent rulings from multiple dealers and floors on several different occasions, and every one of them I've seen (aside from one-offs) has been professional and courteous.

Hey guys I know this will fall on deaf ears but this place has done nothing but treated the players with nothing but the best. They consistently made this room one of the best I have ever played in and I for one will remain loyal to the room. I just hope some of you Maryland guys do the same

As far as product goes, Delaware Park definitely has one of the finest in the area. I will likely continue to bypass Perryville and play there instead in the future when I'm in the area, though MD Live! and eventually Harrah's will be too convenient to not at least try out for a few sessions.

I actually see MD live gaming as being detrimental to the overall game in this area. If they build anything remotely close to here (i.e. Perryville), the player pool will be so saturated, there will barely be any games going on at any of the locations. It'll become another AC situation with one room getting the majority and everyone else being spotty at best, which it already kind of is.

What is the likelihood of getting a 4/8 mixed game going this weekend?

Last edited by zoltan; 11-08-2012 at 03:14 PM. Reason: lol there is no 4/6

Kevin, do you have the schedule for DP's next tournament series yet? Will it be around the holidays?

It went again today and was fun, even if there few/no soft spots at the table. We played 1/2 PLO, 10/20 limit O8. Had some crazy pineapple in there too for some of the time

Delaware Park has just solidified the dates for the 2013 Delaware Park Winter Poker Classic.

The tournament series will take place: Wednesday, January 2nd thru Tuesday, January 15th.

The 2013 Winter Poker Classic will kickoff with a $400 No Limit Hold’em tournament featuring a $100,000 Guarantee starting at 12pm on January 2nd.

The Main Event will be a $1,090 buy in and feature a $150,000 Guarantee and start on Saturday, January 12th at 12pm.

The tournament series will include the following events:
6-Max - No Limit Hold’em
Mixed - No Limit Holdem/Pot Limit Omaha
Omaha/8
H.O.R.S.E
Double Stack – No Limit Hold’em
Added Money – No Limit Hold’em
Multi Flight (re-entry) – No Limit Hold’em

The series will also include a Points Championship.
The points champion will receive a trophy, cash prize, and entry into the Main Event of the Poker Classic Championship Series to be held in the spring.

A complete event schedule will be available next week.
Individual event flyers will follow soon after.

I apologize for the late notice of this event series. We will make every effort to provide you with all of the details as soon as possible.

In addition to the Winter Classic, Delaware Park will be holding Deep Stack Week, December 26th – January 1st. The week will consist of No Limit Hold’em events with buy-ins ranging from $100 - $200 and guarantees up to $30,000. The complete event schedule for the Deep Stack Week should also be available next week.

All of the above information still requires lottery approval. However, I wanted to let all of you know what is coming so that you can make your plans.

Is this just a day game? I looked at the Bravo app game report and it wasn't listed last night.

A 1/2 PLO + 10/20 O8 mix sounds perfect.

When I left work at 5pm I called the room. They said they had 7 players on the table. I put my name on the interest list. When I got there at 6pm the table was broke.

I'd like to see this game go into the evening. I guess the regulars break the game up for dinner time.

We should try to get this game going through Wednesday evening or on the weekend. If the daytime regulars were willing to stay a couple hours longer, I'm sure folks interested in playing would fill it for the evening.

Weekend play should loosen the table up a bit.

It usually goes as a day game on Wednesdays, as guys like me like to leave by around 4. But I know some guys would stay longer, calling and putting your name on the interest list might help convince people to keep the game going.

Off a week for vacation and was thinking about playing in a tournament as well as some 1/2 at DP.

How many runners in the Thurs bounty tournaments?

Friday tournaments?

What's the 1/2 action during the day?

It is 4:30 and Bravo shows the game running but nobody on the interest list.

This game ran until 1:00 am today. It was a great game. $1 rake when 3 handed. I showed up at 7:00pm. The table got up to 6 handed. To bad I droped a buy in.

Hope this is a go for every Wednesday evening.

Monday, January 7th - 4PM: $150 Mixed NLH/PLO

Our PLO events have never exceeded expectations with regards to attendance. It is our hope that by making it a mixed NLH/PLO event, we can encourage non PLO players to participate. Increasing the exposure to PLO for those who don't normally play. This should have a residual effect of increasing the PLO player pool and allow for more participation the next time we hold a straight PLO event.

Pretty sweet schedule and some low buy-ins for the mix games. Excited for this! Also, how many players do you guys get usually during tonights $100 7.5k and tomorrows $150 10k. Playing both just wondering around how many players I need to beat

I will be in the area for the next week on vacation. Delaware Park turns out to be the closest venue. Looking to hit up the cash games, mainly 2/2 if they have it and may dabble in some 2/5. How are the day/night cash tables typically? I'm used to Florida's poker rooms with 10-30 tables running at any given time.
