Shouldn't there be a separate thread for harrington? Seems like this thread got hijacked with talk about Harrington. while I appreciate the info I was confused as to what casino people were posting about.

IMO, I think there should just be one thread for all the DE poker rooms. That way, you have a more active thread and a central location for all information and discussions, not three threads that limited posting. Also, would hopefully eliminate someone starting a new thread every time something changes at Dover Downs or Harrington because those threads were back on page 17 due to no one posting in it.

I would understand the need for a separate thread if one or more of the room managers comes in and posts information and updates (like Stan and the Borgata does), but if not, does it really make sense to have three separate threads? I mean, just look at some of the other AC casino poker room threads (Caesars, Tropicana, Harrah's, Trump Taj when not having a $600k BBJ) and how rarely someone posts there.

I agree with "flamacue" the name of this blog is "Delaware Park Poker News" not Delaware poker news. It's just confusing because some people say "I went there last night or friday night or the other night" and then dont say where. So then you don't know if they are talking about Harrington, Dover or Delaware Park. If you're going to post on this thread could you at least identify which place you are talking about??

As a guy who lives in Delaware, I agree that one thread makes sense for all of Delaware's poker rooms. That being said, the title of this thread is probably not the best for that kind of thread...

Anyone confirm the "dealers have quit" post from above. After getting shut out last Friday I was thinking of going over this weekend to see if I can sit. Based on what I saw it could be a huge mess if they are only able to run two or three tables.

Is Harrington's the only Poker room in DE that opened up so far? When does Delaware park open up?

BTW Tip Pooling is a horrible idea.... Customer Service will be very poor because the dealers have no incentive... It's like that at Foxwoods and they treat there player base like crap.

I was there Tuesday afternoon and at 3 o'clock there were 3 1-2 NL tables going. I plan to go over this afternoon (Thursday) and will get you an update for the weekend.

The Poker Room at Delaware Park is it open because everyone seems to be talking about Harrington's Poker Room.

Soft opening is the 14th, if all goes well the official start will be the 18th.

I agree, under the condition that people stop using the word "there" and replace it with the name of the casino, at least the first time in the post, so we know what room is being discussed.
