fwiw I've spoken to the Manager (Casey) and he assured me that this was not the case. I was and am still incredulous, but he told me that he can have any class II game he wants. Class II is where you play to win other players' monies, such as in poker, bingo, horse racing, or the BS slot machines at DeJope which somehow aren't actual "slots" but are "pari-mutuel bingo machines"--they're slots, though
Class III would be where you play against the casino, so table games and regular slot machines. According to Casey, electronic has nothing to do with anything and he could have regular tables with chips, cards, etc.
But....he won't have any "real" poker there for two reasons: 1)
The company that leases the poker machines purportedly told him that they would pull their machines if he introduced any real games to the room, and 2) he doesn't want the higher overhead that comes with paying and providing benefits to dealers and more floor staff.
