Good turnout for the 3rd Thursday tourney tonight, 400 Players. Still a little burned about the lack of a chop, had 2 holdouts out of 20 players. Finished 16th for a whopping $80 profit as opposed to the $800 or so chop. Didn't help that I had a maniac to me left for the last 3 hours of tourney. Oh well, still tilts me less than cash games.

Nice job, I went out 98th of 400. This was the most people I have seen in this MTT. Maybe Mr Raymer is still a draw, or maybe the 10k Gtd LOL. I had the best table in the house levels 1-10 and then got moved to the most cramped table but that didnt last long until i got busted.

Fun night even told Raymer I felt like I was around poker royalty and he laughed and said he wasnt that big.

I got there right at 8pm and didn't even see him. I was initially seated in the cash area. Planned on dropping by after I busted but he busted in hour 2 and fled the scene

I think the rule in Florida is you can't chop more than 13(?) ways. Not sure why though

Pretty sure no such rule exists. The only thing you cannot do is the cardroom cannot help facilitate a chop outside of the actual players paid. Example would be making sure the bubble boy/girl gets $X amount from each person.

Double checked, you can chop 12 ways, not allowed to chop 13 or more ways.

I was told specifically in Daytona a few weeks ago that you can't chop more than X ways and I vaguely remember hearing it at one of the Jax rooms as well. Haven't been able to figure out why that is though

Ill be starting my rebuilding the bankroll goal tomorrow so Ill be up there and I can find out more about the BLAZE. THe sattys are $25 so if its like august 30k(or something like that) $85 buy in which shouldnt need a satty. But Ill find out more tomorrow, oh yea its a multiday thing, during the week and come back sunday for the MONEY

PLO is run but I think its mainly one table and not sure the stakes. They will open any table for any stake any game if the intrest is there. The run PLO tournies too.

5/10 nlhe should be running most of the time. but the amount of money on the table over there scares me lol (BUT MY GOAL IS TO SOMEDAY PLAY THoSE TABLES)

Im just curious, we have a really nice card room 50+ tables and on weekends they have almost all the tables going. (Crazy half hour high hand deals 750 or 1k) but not many people post in this thread compared to tampa and seminole.

Is the cardroom not got a good rep or is it being daytona the problem

Idk but it seems like a lotttt of older people play here. Which of course means less 2p2'ers. I guess the younger/better crowds are more attracted to tampa/seminole? Seems weird since UCF is 45 min away. The drive is really annoying but I still make it since the tables are just stupid soft at $1/2.

UCF alum here, when I was at UCF 05-09 the cash games near the school were far better and more juicy than anything in surrounding cities, slowed down in 09 due to some raids/busts but I would imagine thats why you don't see college kids

The people who play there and use 2+2 would probably universally tell you that you need to refer to rule #1 of fight club.

Its a great place to play no doubt, crowd is generally old as said before.

I'm thinking bout driving down from jacksonville after work for day 1b of upcoming HPT event 1, but I've never played in Daytona and there's no guarantee, so can any Daytona regs give an estimate on # of entries for this event?

I wanna say winner took home 120 ish last time and has taken been up to 150/160 ish before? Didnt exactly look, but thats what was passed along to me as I've only lived in the area a couple months.

Also another question, how many events are being run in the HPT. Believe I saw the 1500 main, a 300 event and 2 $90 events? Is this really all that runs for HPT?

How are the limit games here? Any 4/8 or higher during the weekdays?

How are 2 satellite wins or more treated? Does 2nd pay out cash?

I went down with buddy Friday night he played event 1, I played the $370 satty cause I couldn't play on Saturday, I shipped the seat (softest satty ever) and of course asked what the policy on multiple seats was, and it is they are all transferable so DBKC won't give you cash for any of them you have to sell them yourself.
