The area that is going unnoticed is the "Space Coast - NASA" area. With everything shutting down I could see that area hosting a real casino along with all the cruise ships. Talk about a new tourist destination!!

I read an article about that. It's really too bad if Orlando will be unable to get a poker room. It would be a gold mine.

How is the Daytona room? I've walked through it, but never played.

Must relay this idiocy....

I am playing 2-5 late on Saturday night/Sunday morning. There are two tables going, next to each other. A player I recognize, good player, who I will term as villain, moves from the 1 seat to the 3 to get the left of spewy bad player who is a calling station in most spots.

After about 30 minutes, villain stands up and on his own takes a handful of chips from our table to the next one and plops them into empty spot on table next to us. As he returns, hand is dealt and he is dealt in. He looks at his cards, then goes back to the table next to us, retrieves the chips, and puts them back down again on our table at the 3 seat.

I protest, with a "what the f are you doing"? Dealer is weak and just sort of throws out a half hearted "hey."

At this point I cannot believe that villain, who is a decent reg, hasn't just said he's tired, my mistake, or anything of the sort and is actually defending his actions to the floor.

I shake my head, cash out, and scoot.

Surely one of the most blatantly wrong things I've ever seen at poker.

Ehh, did you play in the cash games? Was there good action/better action than normal? Sometimes these type of events bring out sick cash games.

There was more action during the HPT Event than usual, the 10/25NL had the most notably difference.Darvin Moon was playing 5/10NL on Friday night.Action was good on Friday and Saturday,2/5 NL seemed lite on Thursday, but there was a long list for 10/25NL.

Casino destination bill appears dead in the house, meaning no possibility of any changes to the poker landscape in the near future. The Daytona poker room however does hold a second license that would allow them to open a second room in volusia county, closer to Orlando. They were considering opening one last year in the Orange City/Deltona area, but backed off.Does anyone know why?

Is it going to be more packed than normal during bike week? How has the action been during previous bike weeks?

They do get some increased traffic during any of the big events, including Bike Week and of course the races. Weather has a lot to do with how many folks want to hang around the windowless room versus being out on their bikes, looking for strippers.

I think that's free poker. I think they are $100-$300 nightly freerolls held at restaurants.

Why didn't you ask her what her story yesterday? I don't think anyone trust online poker anymore.
