Thanks!!
I just wonder there are enough tables for both cash and tournament next week.

For foreigners, does the regular break applies?

Is the casino and poker room running 24/7?

“Play safe” maximum limits apply to everyone. 3 hours continuous play, 12 hours daily, 36 hours weekly. Tournaments do not count towards daily or weekly time limits.

The casino is open 24x7 except for 4am to 12pm on Good Friday, ANZAC Day (April 25) and Christmas Day.

The poker room is open Mon to Thu 10am to 4am and all weekend, Fri 10am to Mon 4am.

Wow, this is going to keep the gambling tourist away…….

Thanks for the info though. Will plan other locations.

I haven’t played a live tournament for over 5 years (possibly close to 10 years), maybe I’ll play something next year

A rare concession from Crown. The rake on 10/20 and 25/50 NLH and PLO has been reduced from 10% capped at $50 to 10% capped at $30.

Wasn't the earlier $10 cap already the highest in the world? The current rake is just legalized theft! I see them ripping $25 out of 2/5 pots and think the dealers should all be wearing stocking masks over their heads. Shame Crown shame!

There were 83 players at last Sunday tournament.
The 10th money seems around 1000 dollars.
The first place around 10000 dollars.

I wish I knew it at the time because got there a bit later but need your members card and you need to buyin with casino chips for it.

Going back 15+ years, you have always needed a Crown card to register for tournaments,

But these days you need a card to play anything, so the queue to sign up for a card can be long. On NYE, I’d say people were waiting at least an hour.

Oh really, I’ve never really played at Crown so was unsure how it all worked.

Few players told me the Wednesday Turbo gets about 250 entries each week which I thought was pretty crazy.

I’m planning on playing the Wednesday tournament on Jan 24. Given the 7:15pm start, if things go as expected, I will probably be home by 9pm!
