By the way, I think if you check with the proprietors of this site, you will find out that it is a pretty established rule at 2+2 that we don't give out advice on how to structure, evade transaction reports, or evade taxes. This issue usually comes up in the context of internet transactions, but it applies to B&M as well. You will find a reference to this in the B&M posting rules about not advocating illegal conduct.

So, as far as I know, 2+2's position is that if you are carrying $10K or more into a casino to gamble, you should follow the law and make the necessary reports.

Players bank is the best option available if you can't get a box and don't want to take large sums with you. I've had one there for years and have never had a hitch.

Does someone have a link to what limits Commerce spreads and the max buy-ins? Or more specifically, what are the min/max buyins on a 1/2 or 2/5 game?

Max is 40bbs in those games. (assuming you mean NL) You can probably find more detailed info in this thread somewhere.

It's barely a sports bar. Games will be on, but we're talking about one bigger projection screen (that's pretty crappy) and a bunch of smaller CRTs in inconvenient places.

Went to the Commerce for the first time in ages and I noticed they now swipe players cards at the poker tables. Does anyone know what kickbacks you get for hours played?
