1/2 is 20bb deep.

2/5 (which is actually 3/5) is 40bb deep.

and they do it for reasons that have been discussed around here roughly eleventy billion times.

I tried multiple times to ask the commerce directly by phone, but I was always misdirected to someone in the blackjack section, or somewhere other than poker room.

So maybe someone ITT can help me out please

Reading through this thread it seems like the rake / drop for the low limit games is $5+$1 BBJ max per hand, and $1 minimum, even without a flop ($6 max per hand).
Is this accurate? Can someone confirm these numbers?

Is there a time charge for the low limit games?

How often do low stakes mixed or draw games run? $4/8, $6/12, $8/16

Do mixed games run at these stakes? How often? What games are usually in the mix?

Thanks for any info you have!

(1) In many games, its a $2 drop with no flop.
(2) No. Isn't that rake enough?
(3) Bwahahahaha. Never. No. They don't. N/A.

Regarding #3: What is the lowest stake mix game that frequently runs at Commerce?

If you want to play draw at commerce, there's a high stakes draw game that runs in the mornings. The average age of the players is deceased.

The other thing, though, is that if you can bring some draw players in with you, they will basically spread any game that you have enough players to play.

So is the low stakes limit action LHE and LO8 only?

Might need to define "around". There is a MacDonald's down the street one way and a Carl's Jr/Green Burrito the other way, but you ain't walking to either (well maybe the MacDonald's). Don't know their hours. There's no good reason to go looking for either place when you can already get a ****** burger at Commerce though.

If thinking McDonald's ask around. There might be a big bunch of people interested in also getting burgers of something like that. You could get a big batch order together. If you are the one getting the order you get a huge markup, if not, you'll save yourself the hassle of going to McDonalds.

Hey guys,

I am gonna be out there in a few weeks and wanted to know how the 40/80 and 60/120 games are generally. How do they compare to the Borgata 20 and 40?

Is the information below still correct? So I get raked to death $8 at Commerce and $7 at Bicycle for ANY flop whether I'm playing 1/2 or 10/20? What are the buy-in limits for 1/2 and other low-limit NLHE games? Maybe I should just go to Disneyland while I'm at the LAPC this week! If it's a flat rake, shouldn't I just shortstack at the highest limit that my trip bankroll can afford?

bike for example drops $1 with no flop, and $4 + $1 or $5 + $1

Bike you get free food as much as you want...

Commerce you get a card and earn $ per hour that you can use towards food...
