a seat change is perfectly approprite if the guy next to u refuses to chop. sit by people willing to chop preflop on both sides on u to avoid being screwed royally every time in the blinds and also make sure u sit beside someone who wont button straddle your small blind

some people who chop try and angle shoot by saying, well i cant chop this hand because how we are only 5 handed, or this hand i cant chop because i want to see a flop for the jackpot

if you're seat hopping based on whether or not people chop you're in the wrong game

According to Twitter commerce is closed for two weeks starting today! Crazy times!

Lol at two weeks. Most wildly optimistic projection I’ve seen yet.

Expect 2 months minimum based on China. But no one knows what life looks like after that.

Commerce has been making a lot of social media posts about upgrading the rooms and doing deep cleans of the facilities. While that's great and all I find it ridiculous they still haven't phased out the lead based chips they still use...

You must be joking. These places could go years closed and be fine.

would be cool if they switched to the clay chips used in vegas. But thats probably not going to happen.

how many people on here are getting low on funds and desperate to cash in your chips, or to access the money sitting in your players bank?

No card clubs, no bars are open in California. I believe they will be allowed open in phase 4. Most of California is in phase 2B.

Only poker rooms on tribal land are open. There was a small card room in the Sierra Nevada's that attempted to open up but the state department of justice closed them up and are trying to suspend / revoke their license.

"The Commerce Casino is excited to announce that we will be reopening our doors at 6:00am on Friday, June 19th! The safety of our players and employees is a top priority for us. When we reopen things may look a little different for everyone's safety. So when you're ready, we're saving you a seat."

Is anyone looking forward to the first person wearing their mask around the neck open coughing up a storm?

Well the cranky old Boomer regs will all be already on tilt, so that might work out.

Surprised they got permission for 8 handed. I think all of these other places allowing more players (including MD Live going seven and some of what is going on in Florida) will get Vegas to allow more players as well.

Probably due to required plexiglas and mask usage. California tables max at 9 players in almost all venues, so almost normal games. LA county health would close it down in a second if Commerce does not enforce mask guidelines.

Nah, are you kidding? They aren’t going to close it back down until at least 100 get sick here. Mask or not

considering how many tables they have that shouldn't take long at all

If it was up to the Commerce, they would of stayed open during stay in place. LA county health department will close down sh*t they don't like, but keep the skilled nursing homes open without adequate staff testing.
