Looks like things continue to pick back up at the clubs as NST is adding the 2/5 game on Fridays at noon and Gemini is getting the 10/20 limit game going most days.

I'm just saying, and I'm likely the only one, that I would like to keep this just Columbus. Of course, I expect to see some chatter about close venues and events within a few hours of driving, which I'm sure may include other areas in Ohio from time to time, so it's not like I don't want to see anything that isn't necessarily in Columbus. I just think making the thread cover the whole state would add a lot of disconnect in the flow of conversation.

*edit* I only said this as information and as my opinion. I wouldn't fight the change AT ALL if it happened, just to be clear.

Cool ReidLockhart. Thought changing it to all Ohio would help traffic on the thread as there isn't another "community" thread in Ohio but you may be right about keeping it just Columbus.

I'd be in favor of opening it up to all of Ohio. There's only 3 (soon to be 4) casinos in the whole state plus a handful of private clubs. There have been a total of 66 posts in the 18 months this thread has existed. I don't think opening it up to the rest of the state is going to make it so cluttered that it's hard to follow. My guess is it will continue to be mostly Columbus people anyway since there's no active community thread for any other city in the state.

We're of course fine with whatever the majority of regs want to do. The RC subforum is for community building, so let's do whatever you guys think would be best toward that goal. It seems like a thread should have a handful of casinos in its area to be really vibrant, e.g., the Atlantic City, Bay Area, and Detroit threads, so if you'd like I can change it to Ohio unless we hear a lot of objections before the new year.

And of course we'll include the Pittsburgh area in this thread because I know that the eastern PA folks wouldn't want to claim them.
