I've got this game setup with 7 players from my group. Looking at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th. Any word on hotel rooms? Rooms are on your website for $139 as of tonight. Even a discounted price would be appreciated.

Why now? He's been doing that for quite some time and others on here do it as well.

Room representatives can only answer questions posed to them by others, not just post away like everyone else. They cannot start new threads, post a new promotion or tournament, etc. This is considered "advertising" and is not allowed.

The advertising is allowed, they just have to sign up as a 2+2 sponsor. I'm sure there are more rules to it than that, but the gist of it is that if you want to use the site as an advertising tool you have to become a sponsor. The rules are the same for you and me, if we want to advertise our poker business here we'd need to pay for the right. I assume Matt broke the rules a number of times if he was banned by the B&M mods. I miss him, and wish that things had worked out.

where is the wpt event held, site seems to just say sattys. also where is hpt event held?

As a player in the 30 game, is there anything in the tournament circuit worth the time? I assume the structure will be fair at best, the vig will be enormous, and in the end you could make more just grinding the normal game. Is there some big opportunity here that I don't understand?

Been taking it easy lately. Actually I'm considering getting a job dealing and going to school. It's been a stressful summer both poker-wise and personal issues. Low buy-in MTTs sound appealing right now.

Easy money in the pre liems, but cash games are by far juicer.
All though live variance is beyond ridiculous.

There's a less stringent standard for moderation in that forum. The last 30-50 posts in this thread are more of a personal/community nature than of a poker information nature. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that--it's actually a really good thing--but it's exactly the kind of thing the RC subforum was created for. Sometime in the next couple of days, I'll close this thread and move it to the RC subforum so it will stay as a resource. Community-type posting can go in the new thread and room-specific poker info can go in existing or new threads in the PV subforum. Please feel free to PM me or post in the Moderation Discussion Thread if you have questions/comments.
